I never even heard of the series until someone from the orchestra invited my son up to a midnight book party when the last book came out--I was sort of put off by all of the vampires so I told my kids they weren't allowed to read/watch any of it.

Well, "bite my tongue" (pun intended ) We rented the movie over the weekend and it was fantastic. Now, I want to read the books.

I guess I'm going to Hel* in a handbasket, but it was such a good story.

And I'm sooooo excited, our community was promised a theme park/water park about 3 yrs ago, but its been held up by environmental permits. Permits are cleared and everything is all set to begin building! If it all goes through, then we should have coasters and a waterpark 10 minutes from my house.

Ok day just got a little brighter cause everytime we go to Universal I have wanted to go to a TNA wrestling taping but always had one day after we left and just looked on Universals website and they are going to have 2 while we are there
Don't know if DW is going to be excited to hear it but I am

I love watching wrestling live.But when I went it was standing room only,after 2hrs of standing I was done!!But it was kool when Stiener and Soamen Joe getting it on on the floor right in front of me!!
Get there early and claim a seat!!!!!!!It gets packed early..

since she has learned to love the coasters, put dw on the coaster and you head out to the TNA wrestling.

We might make a trek to Six Flags over in Jersey this summer, it's about a 2 hour drive. We love Kingda Ka and El Toro!

WE LOVE it there . My son just makes 48 inches this year so the first ride of the year will have to be EL Toro . We have been season pass holders for over 10 years now we have issues LOL. BTW if you LOVE Kingda Ka go to Cedar Point and ride Top Thrill Dragster ... In my opinion it is MUCh better than Kingda KA .

avic77 .. I LOVE ..Twilight ..My DD age 13 started reading it and I had to see what all the fuss was ..well in less then a month between work and all I had all 4 books read and was looking for anything Twilight I could find. I love the movie and well I am Hooked ..

If you LOVED the movie you will LOVE the books more and it will give you a better insight on the relationship between Bella and Edward . It is written much better then the movie and well you just get more out of the books. My favorite ones are the last two Eclipse and Breaking Dawn . Twilight is good but just gets the basics of the relationship and then New Moon is SLOW but a must read to understand the other two . Good luck let us know how you do reading them . Just an FYI once you start is is VERY hard to put them down..

Mac .. There are lots of Twilight Boards around on the net . I have WAY TOO many to visit now and am hooked on it really bad . My dh thinks I am going to run anway and find me some vamps to live with ... especially that Edward one LOL I love him . I love DH too but Edward is just Dreamy ..

Hello all,
Thank you for all the greetings. I don't get to log on much during the day but I'm usally able to get to the boards every night after the kids go to bed. I am always telling people how much of a help everyone is here. My DW still tells people about our last trip when I asked what the height requirement was in the parking garages because we had a rooftop carrier and someone posted a picture of the maximum height sign at the garage within a couple of hours.

Hi y'all. Hope you had a Happy Humpday.

Had a trying day today. DH was grumpy too because of a secretary error. He ticked me off because he takes it out on me, so I decided to cook. The good thing is I love to cook. The bad thing is that he likes my cooking, so he is rewarded for his grumpy behavior. Oh well. At least I get to play with my big knives.

A suggestion for the kiddo that is just a little too short for the rides. I was a coaster fan long before I was tall enough to ride. My Grandpa got me some thick soled sneakers and added some folded paper in the heel. It have me an extra inch or two and I rode the big girl rides with Grandpa. He had me doing inversions by age 7. Just loved him.

I thought the Chi-town weather was beautiful today. The sun came out to play for a while. It was above 50 part of the day. What more can you ask for?

Now to decide between Doubletree or Hyatt Place as my backup. Oh, and I won tickets to go see Coldplay in concert in July yesterday, and I got $20 free from the Airborne settlement thingy.
