avic77 .. I LOVE :lovestruc:love::love:..Twilight ..My DD age 13 started reading it and I had to see what all the fuss was ..well in less then a month between work and all I had all 4 books read and was looking for anything Twilight I could find. I love the movie and well I am Hooked ..
:worship:(me) Twilight ... I have a small issue .

If you LOVED the movie you will LOVE the books more and it will give you a better insight on the relationship between Bella and Edward . It is written much better then the movie and well you just get more out of the books. My favorite ones are the last two Eclipse and Breaking Dawn . Twilight is good but just gets the basics of the relationship and then New Moon is SLOW but a must read to understand the other two . Good luck let us know how you do reading them . Just an FYI once you start is is VERY hard to put them down..:thumbsup2

Oh I have read them all as well! My DD started reading them and I decided to see what exactly she was reading and like you became addicted. The movie wasnt up to par with the book IMO but I blame the director :lmao:
I have the boxed set but DH refused to let me frame the decorative cards with the quotes on them :rotfl2: I think he is jelous :rotfl:

My DH has had enough of Twilight and Edward ... I have to say I really don't care too much about what he has to say LOL:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I love the Books and I am going to re-read them . I really would like to say I haven't seen the movie way too many times but I HAVE ...Poor DH hates it but the three of us ladies in the house can not get enough of it .

I guess the guys just don't understand ...

:worship: Twilight ...LOL

I've read them all too, but haven't seen the movie yet. Right now I'm reading P.C. Cast's House of Night series. It's also YA, and centered around a "vampire finishing school". I can't put them down! The first book is titled, Marked.

I am a big fan as well :) I tried to get into the Twilight thread i saw it I posted but Im in the minority on somethings so I decided to forgo that thread :lmao: dont wanna stir any pots :rotfl2:

Ohhhh I'll have DD look that one up on the Library website for me :thumbsup2
Oh and the movie needed help ! It wasnt bad but it wasnt great either IMO. I think it was the director who screwed it up. I didnt like the camera angles and all the close close ups or far far away shots... it just seemed very amateur to me. But of course movies are never ever as good as the books.

Hiya, Homies.

Off to another Dr. appointment. I'm getting hooked up to a constant blood glucose monitor that I'll be wearing at home for the next four days. We can see what my basil rates on my insulin pump really SHOULD be.

Ta-ta for now, BBL.

Hey Guys :goodvibes I`m sure I`m going to sound a bit silly but what is the Twilight thing??? Am I missing something good?
On a slightly different note any of you guys watching or have watched the 3rd series of Dexter?? I love this show:thumbsup2. A friend downloaded from the states the second series for me, before it was out here, he`s trying to get me the 3rd series just now. Just wondering if it`s as good as the first two :)

This is totally something about nothing....
We have decided to try our hand at a home veggie garden  And I honestly have no clue at all what to do. I am looking online but boy this is more confusing then I thought. Luckily I live in a pretty rural area with lots of gardeners around so I am sure we can get some advice.
I think it will be a fun little adventure and hopefully tasty.... I'd love home grown tomatoes this summer

Twilight is a set of 4 books about a human girl who goes to live with her father. There just so happens to be a family of vegatarian vampires (they dont feed of Human blood only wild animal blood like bears) who also live in the same little remote town as her father. Bella falls in love with one of the vampires and lots of interesting stuff happens :)
It's very clean... no sex (well not till the last book ;) ), little violence, not much bad language. Some of my DD's homeschool friends are not allowed to read the books because the parents immediately assume it is evil when they hear "vampire" But I read them and personal think they are a great set of fantasy books geared to young adults (girls from 12 to 30 something are in love with these books).

Hope that explains a little bit. I am so glad I read them before all the hype started that way there wasnt any unfortunate plot spoiling.

To get the best out of your garden, take a sample of your soil to your local farmers burueo(sp). They will tell you what kinda fertilizer you will need!!:thumbsup2

Me, too...I grew up gardening but the deer took over so I haven't done anything for the past dozen years.

Luckily, we go to a church that has us getting prepared for anything and this weekend the topic is gardening...a 2 hr. class and all:)

My neighbor has taken a huge area and just thrown in every vegetable imaginable put up a tall fence and just lets mother nature do her thing--she seriously never weeds or anything, but she has the tastiest produce.:confused3

I'll keep you posted

I'll agree on the Angel and add a Spike for good measure...

I've read the Twilight books. I'll admit, for the first half of the first book, all I could think was this is a national phenomenon? Puh-leez. This is somebody who watched Buffy and decided to make a new Buffy/Angel story, but with a happy ending. I was intrigued by the end of the first one. Enough to keep at it until I finished the series. The last book was really good. I still don't get the Edward worship, however. Is the knight in shining armor thing? The putting Bella's needs first thing? I get that from my husband. He doesn't have enough of a drool factor for me to consider him a good fantasy man.

I still haven't stopped hoping that Duncan McLeod will return someday, if we're talking immortals...
