hey all, how u hangin?:goodvibes

our travel plans have changed for this summer, no orlando:sad1:, maybe not even for Dec., the mr has a wandering eye...for parts unknown via cruising it appears:rolleyes1

so, i find myself looking @ non-SW air due to schedule issues. In the past, ive used USAir, United & Airtran (who i hate, yet has the best rates by far:headache:). Are there any you wouldn't use again or betting they won't survive thru the summer: NW, continental, alaskan, deltapopcorn::

Same thing here--hubby told me last night that it will be impossible to take a trip any time in Dec due to reopening the longwall portion of the mine about that time. Yay for all of the new employees that they will be hiring, but :sad2: no vaca for us.

And he still thinks its too early to go back to Orlando--he wants to go to Myrtle. I even showed him an email that showed the room would be 400 more than the SB rate for a week. He replied that that the beach had a studio and Universal was just a room.:headache:

Whatever happened to my roller coaster buddy? We've known each other 19 yrs and except for when I was pregnant have always done an amusement park vacation somewhere.:confused3

I think Delta and NW will be OK as they've just merged ... at least I hope they'll be OK, that's who we're flying with in May and most likely October

Hello, Keishashadow I noticed you are from Pittsburgh, my hometown. We like to cruise out of NYC. If you talk your MR into doing that you could use the money you saved on airfare to take that trip in Dec.

And hello to the rest of you. I've been reading this thread but haven't had the opportunity to post yet. I usually start checking out these boards about 3 months before a trip and hang around a couple of months after. Then RL catches up to me and I get to busy. We will be going to UO this June and staying at RPR. This is my third trip to UO but my 1st time staying on site.

Morning all, I pretty much got school done for the day :cheer2: Still gotta do Science but the kiddos enjoy that so I'll save it for later in the day :rotfl:

I measured DS6 today and since Jan 14th he has grown from 44 inches to 45 inches :scared1:. Still to short for Mummy which is a total bummer :sad1:. I think he would LOVE Mummy.
Can anyone tell me what makes Mummy have the 48" height requirment? Is it a coaster type ride or a simulator? If it rolls over i totally understand but if not the why the tall height requirment

The Mummy ride is a coaster but it doesn't go upside down. There is one drop that's pretty fast and steep and unexpected if you haven't ridden it before.

Thanks I still cant figure out the tall height on the ride but DS will have to deal

It's the only one he cant ride but his 9 yr old sister can so I think it will be an issue.

Now I am trying to figure out "after hours" entertainment. I dont see spending EVERY evening at the condo swimming pool. I guess we will be doing some exploration.

Good evening all!!!

Also :welcome: Tank..mac will give the grand welcome soon......:thumbsup2

Welcome Tank :yay::yay::yay:

I hope that everyone is having a good Tuesday?!!?!?

It is spring right?!?!?!

It is a bit chilly here but it better than snow :scared1:

just call us homies tours, inc.

the rest of the homies will roll out the welcome mat to you.
please hang around for awhile.

i really need to start more recruiting of the midwest/chgoland area.

i think the PA homies out number us here......
i say that with a smile though.

:welcome: Tank I just joined the Homies as well (though I dont have the cool tag yet  I think i have to survive a trip to the darkside first :rotfl: )

Hope you stick around awhile.

:upsidedow Big Whoops... Just picked up my DD from a tennis match and she told me she had just seen her grandparents at Arby's when the bus went by it..

I'm thinking, huh? Why are they up here (30 minutes from their house)?

Then I remembered that my son was supposed to play the cello for the county band concert tonight. I kinda forgot to call her to tell her he wasn't playing tonight.

Sigh...

welcome tank:goodvibes another peep from peepslyvania:lmao:and a another burg'er:cool1:(we're starting to catsup w/the gang out east)! i haven't been to NYC in many moons, was considering driving to Phillie or baltimore, didn't like the itinerary on the Pride our week though.

mj ur in the doghouse;)'fer sure. shamefully, i have yet to catch one of DSs tennis matches:rolleyes1he's 2nd string, exhibitions; going to try tomoorow if it doesn't rain. Skateboarders trashed the courts, district never fixed them; so we play all games away. I really like MB, yet find it sooo pricey.

StL - no jinxing:wizard:

bonny - i didn't know those 2 merged, thanks...wonder if it means they'll be cutting down their existing schedules? hope it doesn't affect u.

I was considering United until i realized the 2nd leg of the connecting flight would either be on an airbus or worse, 20 seat plane:scared1:; not after the recent sad events will i fly one especially @ night. so spoiled w/SW & having an out, now it's back to RL & possible cancellation fees:headache:

Night homies..This spring is gonna be a bad one with pollen..
I'm feeling it now:sick:...

My patience is almost out. I'm looking into switching back to Disney if the voucher isn't in a week from today.

it's only been 2 days andy.

i read some people are getting their mailers today.

do what you think is best for you.

I'm still giving them a week. But with my luck it won't come. People in my area have already reported getting them, yet still nothing for me. Really, it wouldn't be a problem if they would have a back up plan for people who for some reason don't have their voucher. Universal will still give you the ticket without the voucher, why can't the people who legitimately won the ticket still receive the discount if they never got, or happen to forget, their voucher. :confused3

Sprinkle some cookie crumbs (being the Darkside and all) on us y'all!!! We're looking at a possible June/July trip!!!
