Mac - Stephen has been going to school the last two days (missed Thu and Fri and can't afford any more). Guess it's all sinus stuff and it may get better in a couple days or a couple months! Unfortunately that seems to be the prognosis. Called the nurse again this afternoon who will check with the doctor and see if they have any more great advice. At least he's not just confined to bed and miserable, just in pain (is that an improvement?!)

What's your weather forecast? Theoretically sleet, freezing rain, and ice tonight and 6-10 inches of snow on Friday. Joy...isn't it almost March?

Oh, and the more bad news is that although our schools always start after Labor Day, and I was counting on that in my (ever so slight) planning that Stephen and I might go to WDW then, they changed it for this year and they're going to start on September 1st. So I guess that rules the trip out! Sigh!

Marcie - youse guys look to have so much fun as a family.Retro seems to be a theme.The Boy has taken to watching Jaws and he is spending hours playing CONNECT 4 of all things !!

Barb - I have riden Jaws once....and it scared the bejesus oot me,never again.

When watching Jaws with the boy i scared him more than the film.

Hey marci talking about retro( I love twister-my knees dont) My kids got me for $20 on Yahtzee and we were playing with quarters..I swear they had loaded dice..

That was one of the few games that they picked out of the piles that I had laid out to bring that they didn't want to play. I know I used to enjoy playing it but every time I suggest it they all say it's too "boring"!

Evening all...just passing through. I'm feeling a lot better now thanks to Mac's chicken soup. I received some in the mail today and the only problem was the envelope was a little damp...but very good!

I'm gonna be in Sweeney Todd!!! Just the ensemble, but that's pretty cool too!! It'll be April 16-May 9. It's in Dallas though, but I'm worth the trip! lol

I'm getting ready to teach a dog safety class on Thursday at my church. Then Jared is being baptized on Saturday. Hooray! I'm in charge of the music and I'm singing a special number.

Toodles, off to make sandwiches for dinner. And clean up the toothpaste I just saw Jonathan spreading around....

Anybody want to bathe my stinky dogs? I don't have time tonight. Nothing REALLY bad like skunk, they just smell like DOGS again.

DD is sick today. Came out of school yesterday looking like a train hit her. Then temp of 103.

At least when she's sick, she stays in bed sleeping all day. Not a lot of "Mommmm...get me some tea, get me some more covers, take my temp..."

My neighbor told me that 500 kids were absent at the high school yesterday.
