andy i quit watching pushing dasies (think writer's strike maybe, so many programs lost steam then), shame it's been cancelled - so quirky

I liked it. Now to wait for season 2 on DVD. Watched "Towelhead" tonght. Very thought provoking. Happy New Year, by the way!!

I screwed up the name. It is Goya Ham, not pork. Here is what I'm talking about:

It is on the international food aisle in my grocery store. Near the Mexican foods.

There are several envelopes that come in a box. Add one envelope to the water when cooking dried beans or peas. Yum!

dang.......now you tell me after a trip to the grocery store..

Sounds like a crock pot meal day!

Do you ever watch Cesar Milan? The dog whisperer. He makes it look so easy to handle multiple dogs!

Would you believe I can complicate everything including crock pot meals? Not intentionally, but I do it.

I used to watch Cesar Milan. He has some good ideas, but I disagree with the idea that ALL behavior is based on every dog wanting to be the alpha. They're more complicated than that. That said, it's not the dogs I worry about as much as dogs + kids. THAT is a circus, and all four of them love to create/take advantage of chaos.

Goya also has it in english on the other side with the new packaging.

Sometimes its in the "Ethnic" not international, and sometimes is mixed with the Mexican foods. Every store even same chain have it different - not to mention when you change cities. I was having the hardest time finding stuff when I moved from Miami to Orlando. The rice brand I buy was not in the rice section it was with Ethnic, not to mention the spices they were all mixed up.

sharon, enjoy the kids home for the holidays, cannot believe u couldn't find old bay...i'd be lost without, even use in chicken dishes sometimes...they even sell old bay flavored potato chips here

goya - never heard of or seen, course im not much for mexican food old el paso mild taco seasoning is as adventurous as i get

still working on polishing off the pork & kraut...i believe it's breeding in the fridge @ night

Made it home to Wheeling from the sunny isles of Orlando. remind me to never try to drive to Orlando again--it wasn't the kids who drove me nuts it was the DH who wouldn't let me drive and only grumbled at us....I can't wait until he returns to work on Monday.

Loribell do you own a cream travel trailer? We passed one shortly outside of Orlando and I wondered if it was you? I waved just in case.

Hey everyone!

We are at the weekend! So I'm finally taking steps towards my wedding and going dress shopping tomorrow.

Guess I have to go and buy some Vaseline!
