i am using safari but when i use firefox or ie/which by the way i hate, colors are different on the tags. don't know about the button color.

mine should be red which is invisible.

you know i really do have blonde moments......

i was posting on the thread of "got my voucher" and someone stated you can get a special discount on rooms at UO.

i had posted the 5 for 3 last day is oct 8 which is the day i check in.
i did call them earlier this year and was told no more discount specials for oct. for my dates of stay there.

i used the code that was posted on that thread and found out that, winners of the super bowl tickets can get a discounted room by booking on the website and use a code.

you book on a special site and then show the flyer at the hotel to guarantee that special price.



what to do, what to do..........
do i give up my platinum free upgrade and hotel $100 credit of food and beverage for a standard garden view room?

the rates at pbh are higher even with the code of what i would have there if i booked there with aaa.

we know i'm not doing hrh this year so that leaves rph. already booked there back in january.


i know i'm not hitting 6 different trips to the darkside this year.
i know no matter if i use the loews program i'll be dropped down to gold next year no matter what i do in this booking......



hm..........i gotta sleep on this.


in case any of youse are staying on site this year and received the voucher/flyer, you might be able to get your rate cheaper if you book it thru universal.


i'm going to call loews tomorrow and check to see if the universal resorts will be considered a 3rd party in this situation.

i bet they say yes, it's a 3rd party....

Mac, do you have arthritis? Your eyes can actually swell due to rheumatoid arthritis. Too much blood rushing to your eyes. If you have arthritis of any sort, I'd have it checked out if not better in a day or so.

the fine print states you can book at the special site but have to show the flyer/voucher when you check in to the hotel to keep that promo rate.

it states it is non transferable.

Grrrr! I went to the website too. I'm gonna be so p/o'd if my voucher doesn't come in. It is a great deal!! I'll call tomorrow just to double check since Universal did confirm I won the free ticket.

I could really smell the smoke from the fires last night...I guess the wind was blowing just right.

Just a reminder...if you're coming down in the near future and have breathing problems, you might want to come prepared. We have had no rain in quite a few weeks now and everything is dry. Wild fires are breaking out all over again.

It's 7:18am on the East coast. Yes...the wild fires are back...not as many as last year (so far) but the smoke travels for miles.

I`m forgetting about the clock shifts. Ours go forward an hour tonight! So losing an hour. Will be tired tomorrow as having a kind of late night tonight. We`ve got friends going to Orlando in a few weeks for the first time so they`re coming over for some tips and a look at pictures and stuff.
May have a glass of wine or two

We "sprang" ahead a couple of weeks ago. It takes a while to adjust but having the extra hour of sunlight in the afternoons is nice.

Yes looking forward to the extra daylight as our long dark winter seem to have gone on forever! It`s beautiful today but still very cold. Tom`s gone out to cut the grass and is nagging me to help I`m quite busy on the puter
Heading home to Scotland to see my mum in a couple of weeks so hoping the weather picks up by then.
Just dreaming of that orlando sunshine at the moment
