If I remember correctly tix for one day were something like $25 - weekend was something like $40. Then of course are the cost of autographs ...

Don't worry, I'll keep you posted ;)

Awesome. I can prolly go Fri or Sun, I'm trying to keep Saturday open to see what my other message boards friends are doing. It'll be either F&W at Epcot or Busch Gardens. Gah, why must it be so far away!!

morning all

sigh, time running out for us to see a shuttle launch (moreso want to feel the sonic boom) none of my planning has worked out thus far:confused3 , safety 1st is paramount though

Moanin'....

Off to the dentist soon...yay :upsidedow

Who asked about a cruise? Scot or Cir? Anyhow, yes...DCL IS more expensive than other lines, BUT if you are looking to keep your kid entertained for some QT w/ the DH...I'd recommend it. (TR link in sig) Almost every night we were waiting for the kids lab to close (1am) to retrieve the boy....he'd rather be there having a good time than with the parents! The one night we told him we were taking him to the ventriliquist's show. He sulked. BUT...once there, he had a great time and laughed his butt off! He was glad he went....and then couldn't wait to be deposited back to the kids lab. So, you can see as much of him as you like....or as little!

Exactly HOW much more $ is it?? Welllll....I priced a 7 night balcony room on Carnival (same time of year--summer) and it was $400 cheaper (for all of us) than our 4 night oceanview (window) room. :guilty: Don't get me wrong tho...it was worth every single penny and we really enjoyed ourselves....we'd do it again in a heartbeat IF DCL wasn't so pricey. But, now we can at least say we've done a Disney Cruise and experienced Castaway Cay :goodvibes I recommend if you are planning DCL, to get the Disney Visa credit card and try to earn yourself some reward points/dollars. You can use them for OBC or to pay for some of the cruise. (We had been using it for a few years before and managed to earn enuf reward $ to pay for 99% of Bubba's cruise :teeth: )

I'd do it....at least once. ;) Life's short, kid's are only young once. We have to travel late June/early July, so that is going to be the more expensive time to travel...maybe you could travel off peak time for a better rate? :goodvibes

I think it's finally going to warm up around here...after no skool Monday due to blizzard conditions, hitting high 50s/low 60s....maybe high 60s by weekend :confused3

ah well...just roll with it....

:wave2: to everyone!

Thats the bad thing about it is that her boss was out with the same thing and DW had to work almost doubles by herself for 4 days last week.
So go figure why she dosen't have to do it but DW has too

I might have to change my signature again soon...I just signed up for the Sea World AP for $8.87/month. WOO HOO! Now I can go to the passholder preview of Manta! :cool1:

Greetings from the Great White North all ...

Well, it's March in Alberta - yesterday we had major melting, then last night a blizzard, and today it's COLD ... :sad2:

Good news!!!! It looks like another night launch of Discovery next week. A friend of mine is coming down next week and she has never seen a launch...this should be great!

Same here ... it's just never worked out for us - we've always missed it for some reason or another

Do it!!! ::yes::

Tracie...do it! You only turn 40 once! (thank God)

Todd...congrats! Great price! Is renewal a discounted price? Did you decide to get it just for the AP preview? ;)

Lawrence...hope you and the Mrs feel better soon...it sux to have to work ill :guilty:

Hey Bonny  stay warm up there!! Honestly...I don't know how you all do it up there :confused3 I have a hard enuf time dealing with the cold PA weather :sad2:

I'm not sure what the renewal is but I think the price stays the same as long as you have it. My co-workers pay $4.21/month for theirs...they've had it for years now...no increases so far. I pretty much got it for the preview for Manta but Sea World is a fun place so I'll enjoy going there.

Hey youse...

Had a tough week with the boy but he is much better today thankfully.

I think I told youse before but I was in Florida to see the launch of Discovery in 88.

It was the first launch after Challenger was lost and it is still today one of the high lights of my life.

It looks like oct 09 is gonnae be fun.......come on youse yet to decide....you know it makes sense !! :thumbsup2

Question Todd, your A FLA ressie right.Wouldnt it been cheaper to pay for a day come back all year??My expriennce with AP's with BG or SW is we never got previews for new rides..

Most of the time Kraken has a low waite line.Even when the park is packed..

I don't know about the dinner cause all they like me to cook is steak :lmao: but she told me she is feeling better but me on the other hand am still feeling it and now a sore throat kicked in

I love cooking Lawrence,I'm the Bobby Flay of BBQ in our family!!
But put me behind a stove, watch out..Everything from homemade chillie-fried chicken....My personal fav is the crock pot,2lbs of eye of round roast seasoned, and 10hrs later cut it up and put it back in with egg noodles. Then I steam my veggies>>one of my favs!!:thumbsup2

I refuse too goto family gatherings unless I cook. There idea of a cookout is hotdogs & hamburgers with chips!!:sad2:

Not me.I take my smoker and get several racks of ribs and cook for hours..When I'm done the finished meal is cheaper then the dogs and burgers and taste 100times better..I let the ladys make the side dishes of choice..

No wonder I need to go on A diet!!;) I love my food...
