Something About Nothing............ #14

Walking when you haven`t been as active for a while does wake your legs up for sure!!! Once the weather picks up here Tom and I will get back out regularly, meanwhile with those temps Ruth, stay in!!!!

I remember not being able to thread the sewing machine at school, it was out of the ark from memory and one of my friends did it for me, teacher knew of course and said out loud in class one day (she was a cow) well, we all know miss *****@********* will never make an engineer due to her lack of talent. I always wanted to go back and tell the old cow I did get an Enginnering Degree and another in English Literature too, but obviously never got the chance. I haven`t thought about that in ages lol.....and to this day I won`t touch a sewing machine!

I make it to a recipe called Petticoat Tails, softer shortbread and very, very buttery!!! They do like it.

Glad the little guy is doing better, I too had to look up that name, it has rather a humorous name over here, it`s called slapped cheek syndrome, used to be very common a few years back but haven`t heard of it in a long time.

Belated Anniversary wishes to you and your husband, always nice to celebrate!!

Being retired is wonderful but yes, at times I wonder why we are so busy, but we do like to keep busy where we can as well as enjoying some down time doing nothing now and again. Best of both worlds.

Have a lovely weekend and hope your symptoms ease soon, it can be so miserable dealing with both issues, but at the same time it feels unfair and yes, sleep patterns are so important.

Hope you got to the restaurant with your daughter, and yes it is probably the most fun group we have joined in a while. No pressure, all at your own pace, but my goodness for 90 minutes you don`t stop moving and we`re loving it!!

Remind me again Ruth......when you say noodles, what do you mean?? Here noodles are usually in Chinese food, like lo mein or chow mein dishes and can be thin, thick or regular????

As I said to you last night, yes, once in 56 years isn`t bad at all, I think you can forgive him this time, but tell him it better not happen again lol....I love flowers and appreciate getting them so often.

Don`t be in a rush to move anywhere with your weather, best place for you, I know it sucks to feel so crappy though and on your anniversary too. Hope the next appointment goes the way you want it to go and you get good news. I know what you mean about wanting to make a trip for your mister, yes our husbands deserve a surprise treat!!!!

lol...not sure the good burn feels so good on Wednesday nights, but we`re always glad we went, so there`s that, can`t be that bad as we keep going back.

I make a slightly different recipe for shortbread called Petticoat Tails, as I said to Ruth, they are a much softer shortbread that we prefer. My sister is the opposite, she prefers a hard bite but I find that type a little tasteless and more of a shortcake. Kyle and his colleagues love it, one of the bosses wanders around muttering it`s the best shortbread he`s ever tasted, so I`ll take that compliment!!

Hope you`re feeling better today, but take it easy all the same.

We had a lovely day yesterday apart from it being cold, grey, miserable, foggy and drizzly.....hey ho, it`s winter. Kyle came over late mid afternoon and we had a nice catch up and enjoyed some beautiful Chinese take out. Him and some friends are travelling 2 hours this morning to do a 15 mile city run somewhere, it is however a little better today and not as foggy.

I`m baking today, will be hard to resist eating some ourselves, I`m sure we might have a square or two and there`ll still be loads for the office, will hand it in in the morning.

Doing beef in Ale for dinner tonight, slow cooked all day in dark ale, beef stock and all the usual herbs and spices, I have some puff pastry so going to turn it into a steak pie, very winter warming dish and some simple veg, we don`t need any potato with the pastry and we`ll probably keep some shortbread for our after dinner cuppa.

Weirdly Tom just asked what`s for lunch......no clue, might do bacon in a bap and this is definitely a day for lots of tea, it`s still so cold outside. I only need a few bits from the store so Tom will pop out on his own while I get on.

Nice baking day ahead but always feels very relaxing doing it.

Have a lovely Sunday :)

Wow, what an awful thing to say to a student!!! That's awful! I hope you went back and told her about your degrees. I wonder why they let someone like that teach anything? Besides, sewing is something you have to like to even do it. I really didn't care one way or the other when I was in school (too interested in boys, lol), and only started sewing many years later when I got into quilting.
Remind me again Ruth......when you say noodles, what do you mean?
Well, if I can get the picture switched to the laptop and then send to you, it will be a miracle:)
It's a really easy recipe: You mix 3 cups of flour with 4 beaten eggs and add some cold water to that if needed to be the right consistency. Then roll this out on a floured cloth to a think 1/8th of an inch depth, so close. The longest thing you have to do is wait for the dough to dry. It can take 4 or 5 hours depending on temp and humidity. I hurry it along by using a fan to dry. After it is almost dry, I roll it up and cut very thin slices. I heat up the beef/broth and add the noodles to it and cook til done. It is easy. Just waiting around for the dough to dry takes the longest.
As I said to you last night, yes, once in 56 years isn`t bad at all,
Yes, he did feel bad so I left the "hint". I didn't want him to be completely embarrassed when I gave him his card. He usually never forgets those things.

Oh I forgot to say that there is enough noodle dough to make 4 or 5 small mounds when you put it on the floured surface, and then roll them out. Using the beef and delicious broth from the roast gives it a great flavor.

I always tell people there is a price for living in paradise. There is good and bad. Weather here in Flordia is nice this time of year, but the gators, snakes and fire ants if you encounter them are a reminder there are dangers too.

Here we have the Eastern Diamonback rattler and the Coral Snake.
Those poisonous snakes are scary.

I watched a little with hubby. Kinda worst Super Bowl ever. Not for the winning team of course, but for overall entertainment. Definitely the worst halftime show ever. I will usually watch that with hubby. It was so aweful I could not watch anymore of it.

Yuck……..snow.

Our son is a big Bears fan.

Our neighbors are snowbirds from Canada.

He is doing better, thank you Carole. I FaceTimed with my niece and little J yesterday evening. He was hit with double whammy. He ended up getting fifth’s disease from school and then a sinus infection. This is the first time he has had to be on antibiotics.

He is so sweet. It was good to see him and my niece on our video chat.

What a wonderful romantic getaway.

Thank you, Janet getting better. Just wish the upper back issue would resolve totally, but sometimes those things take time.

Happy Anniversary to Janet and her hubby. May you have many more Happy Anniversaries to come.

I’am here. Mac hope you and your hubby are well.

Enjoy your much deserved 3 day weekend.

I’am sorry to hear about your accident. Hope your back feels better soon.

Enjoy your time with Kyle. Sounds like his office friends are enjoying getting spoiled with your shortbread. Sounds delicious.

Wow…..That is cold. Hope all the doctor appts went well.

Good morning Ruth. Hope you and you hubby are well.

Did you complete your grandsons camo jacket. You are a creative grandma. I’am sure he will appreciate and love his jacket from you.

Up at 5 am this morning. We had a nelly guster of a storm last night. It brought in some high winds and much needed rain. We had a storm Friday night too that had some impressive lightening. That is really the first rains we have had since being here.

A little bit of a busy week this week. I guess for a retired person so to speak…..LOL…I can remember doing so many things on top of working a few years ago and I now look back and think how did we accomplish all of that and work too.

Hubby had to have two caps removed. Permanent ones will be in in 3 weeks. Our dentist in Indiana did not place the caps appropriately. The caps are in the top back and are right next to each other and hubby has had problems with them for past year. So we saw another dentist here. He has done work on our teeth and he is wonderful.

My upper back is still pretty tender, but better. Shoulder, arm and leg bruising from fall is all gone. On top of everything else my UC flared up. So on steroids to calm that down and think the meds have helped back a bit too. Not bad to get a two for one. Problem is steroids do mess with my sleep. Will start tapering off those soon so that will help some…..The perils of Penelope….

We have had beautiful weather during the day here other then the aforementioned storms past couple of nights. Temperatures have been in upper 70’s to low 80’s.

I have enjoyed getting out and walking around. Keeping moving is a good thing.

Hubby and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. He is the love of my life. Looking forward to many more happy years with the sweetest man I know.

I did get my hair done Wednesday. Needed to have the gray roots colored. I was starting to look like PePe Le Pew

I wanted to find another Licensed Message Therapist here. I have a wonderful one in Indiana, but needed to get another one here. The one I used before and really liked moved.

I did some research online and found another one and had an appt with her yesterday. She did a wonderful job. She is located in an upscale shopping center.

When you enter her office it’s like walking into a hippie salon. Her therapy room is like walking into a galaxy of stars. Which are reflected tastefully on the walls of the lightly darkened room. I took this as sign (if there is such a thing) as I love the stars and rocket ships. I was hoping she could ease some of the muscles and tendons in my upper back. It did help some for sure. I really liked her. She looks like a barefooted Holistic Earth Mother. She was very nice.

Not much going on today. Hubby and I might venture out for lunch. Then we might stop and walk the boardwalk by the Ocean when we are done. A little salt air does the body good.

Happy Belated Valentine’s Day to all the sweethearts here on the Sans.

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone doing whatever makes you happy.
I meant to say that I hope little J is doing much better. It's so hard to watch the little ones when they are so sick.

Next week’s forecast is not looking good.

View attachment 938454
Charade, at least it looks better than ours. I think everywhere looks better than ours this time of year, LOL. We are still in the below zero's for night and day, but there's a light at the end of the tunnel. By the weekend we will get Above Zero!!! Wow can't wait. This cold spell has lasted long enough.

It’s a soggy Sunday. It rained almost all of yesterday and into today. I think it’s going to stop sometime this afternoon.

I just made hotel reservations for the nights I will be seeing Micky Dolenz and Rick Springfield in concert. Rick will actually be performing at a venue that is about an hour closer to us than the venue we booked. The tickets are about half of what we spent, but I discovered that the venue is general admission lawn seating. I’d rather pay more for a reserved seat that is actually a seat.

The movie was okay. Not really up to the standard of the original Avengers movie, but certainly not the worst Marvel movie ever made. If you haven’t seen The Incredible Hulk movie, I recommend watching that one first.

I was very fortunate and didn’t have it.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. I have had a few headaches recently and wonder if they are weather related.

I hated home ec. I got stuck in a cooking group of students who didn’t care if they passed or not. (Not a requirement for us. I took it because I thought it would be an easy elective.) They put almost no effort into the class, and since everything was a group project my grades suffered. I had to beg the teacher to put me in a different group.

I couldn’t use a sewing machine if my life depended on it. My mom was very good at sewing. I wish I had appreciated it more back then.

Still haven’t made it. Maybe today after the rain stops.

Today I need to get to the grocery store so we are prepared for the snow on Wednesday. Poor B is scheduled to work a long shift that day. The predicted accumulation has changed from 5-8 inches to 3-5 inches. I am so ready for my vacation.

Yes, I wish I could do something useful like that, but alas my talents obviously lie somewhere else lol....

Your countdown is dropping at least, won`t be long now.

Good Sunday morning Sans family :wave2:

Yes, the summers here are pretty hot for sure.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you Ruth.

Good to have you back and posting.

Good to hear you are able to get things done in the morning before your fibromyalgia kicks in.

I like getting up early and trying to accomplish a few things on my to do list.

I have been bit a couple times by fire ants and their name is appropriate. The pustules that form after a bite feels like fire.

Good to hear your mom is doing well.

I hope you grandson does get the relief he needs from his new medication regimen.

My flare is calming down with the steriods.

Yes, they are worth gold.

This one is not to far out. She is into holistic medicine which is nice, but she is not pushy with her beliefs. I found out about some nice organic farms around here that I was not aware of from her.

Wow……sounds like a nice dad who liked to cook. What a nice memory to have and share with your family. Beef and noodles sounds yummy.

Sweet that he made the effort and did come up with a nice Valentines Day card and bouquet.

Sorry to hear you have been sick Janet. Hopefully you are on the mend now.

I hope the second opinion on your surgery is what you are expecting hear and you are able to make the surprise trip for your hubby.

Sometimes being on the coach and chilling is what you need to do.

Thank you, 38 years.

Granddaughter is doing great.

Spoke to daughter in law yesterday and she did get her stitches out of her knee. She is having physical therapy and is able to take a couple steps without her crutches. So slow and steady.

Thank you, Lynne looks like you have been having a nice vacation.

Thank you Mac.

What a wonderful milestone Anniversary you have coming up. Keep him in line….LOL

Yes, that is the nickname of it here too. It looks like someone has slapped them on their cheeks. Their little cheeks get such a red rash on them. He pretty much had all the bad side effects fever etc. What really upset my niece is that the school had a couple of kids that had this and they did not send out a email to the other parents to let them know they had already had two children diagnosed with it 2 weeks before.

Then little j got it and a couple of other children did too. Would have been nice for the school to have been courteous enough to warn the other parents so they could pick up on the signs early.

My younger sister K (little J’s grandma) is a Nurse and she knew what it was right away.

Then he got a sinus infection to boot. I felt so sorry for the little guy.

Thank you Carole.

Thank you. You have a nice rest of your weekend too. Stay in and stay warm and enjoy your tea.

Up early again this morning.

Did go out to the store and look at some plants. Then came back home and hubby was up so I made us a light breakfast.

Going to out on he patio for a little while.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

Glad the family are improving, good to hear they`re on the mend.

Yes, they should have let the family know there had been cases. But, to get a sinus infection on top seems very cruel on the little guy.

Hope your Sunday has been a good one.

FL weather is it's normal spring and fall bipolar self right now. Rain band associated with cold front just passing thru.
Had a great Valentine's, a little chocolate after a half day of work.
Have a great week everyone!

Glad you had a nice Valentine`s Day and glad the cold has gone!!

It`s pasta???? Oh I was imagining something very different lol.....I know what you mean now. Yes drying it requires patience for sure, I don`t make that myself. I have made pasta for lasagne sheets and to make lobster ravioli but not often as we don`t eat a lot of pasta generally. But, I`m glad I know what you mean now, it sounds lovely.

Oh bless him, glad he redeemed himself though, he does sound lovely!!!

I never did get back to tell her, not that she`d care, I think she retired the year after I left school, never did hear what happened to her. She was not a good teacher, no one really liked her and she did have a cruel streak in her from memory. This was back in 1980, teachers could be different then, we had a mix of very good and very bad, even worse was my first year at senior school maths teacher. She loathed me and anyone who didn`t excel in Maths and yes she was a bully in the true sense. I could write a book.

Ironically she had an affair with one of the other married teachers and both marriages split up and he had children, she can hardly claim the higher ground there on that one. Nasty woman.

Enjoy your dinner and hope your Sunday has been a good one!!! And just saw your latest post, stay warm and cosy Ruth!!

Baking all done and yes, we sampled some, there are plenty for everyone there.

Haven`t done much else today, chatted to some friends, sent some emails and generally passed the day away. Changed the bed and organised towels and bedding and put some stuff in a couple of bags for the Charity shop, we`ll drop them off tomorrow after we have done our volunteering.

Dinner was lovely, served the beef in ale with creamy mash and some veg, don`t need anything else but pot of tea later with some of that gorgeous shortbread.

Then some tv I think, maybe some more Sherlock.

Oh, I forgot that you don't like pasta. I guess I dont think of it as pasta, like spaghetti.

I know what you mean about the teachers being "different" in what they could do back then. I was in high school in the 60's and it was the same way. Today, their behavior would not be tolerated.
For example: We had one science teacher who was gay, which is not a problem for me. However, he would go on "dates" with a young student and they would bring a friend (girl) along with them so they wouldn't get into trouble. It seemed odd, and I could care a flip about gays dating back then and still don't. They would go to all the school events, games, etc together. That would not be tolerated now. We had some vindictive teachers too. One "lady" would pick on my boyfriend all the time. I think she had a crush on him or something because there was no reason for her to yell at him and hustle him into a room..........He said she never tried anything, but she was very weird. I guess we could fill a book about those experiences? They would never fly now.

We eat it occasionally, mainly lasagne, I do occasionally buy thicker strips like fresh linguine when Tom fancies a seafood dish with it.

Yes, times were very different even in the 1980`s but my goodness a teacher dating a student gay or straight is certainly something to be avoided!!!

There were some amazing teachers and several I felt were very encouraging, but it`s the nasty one`s that stick at times. But, in general I did enjoy school, apart from maths lol....everything else I loved and was good at which helps!

Might make a lasagne during the week now I`m thinking of lasagne sheets!!

Quick hello before heading to work. It now looks like our winter “storm” isn’t going to be so bad. The accumulation prediction has dropped from 5-8 inches to 1-3 inches. Of course you never really know here. They once predicted a coating to an inch and we got 6-7 inches.

Our snow storm is to come on Thursday, as of 3 days ago. But today, they are saying no snow, and just overcast. As it’s only Monday, that forecast change may change again. Like we were so glad to come back Saturday with no issues, when first it was said to be a snow filled day, a week before. But those in the air on Sunday were seeing lots of delays if heading South, due to the storms. Glad your most recent forecast is much less snow, than first forecasted, Charade.

We are in a very windy two day time, as yesterday and today, so windy sounding. 55 mph gusts have brought trees and wires down. Last night, news had reported of a lady passing away, when tree fell on her car, as was driving near her home. So sad.

We are thankful, other than small branches and a knocked over trash can, that’s all we have had. Last evening, at my sister’s, she lost power twice when we were there. But lucky, each time, it came back not much after going out.

In the overnight, last night, sounds of the wind woke me up several times. Windows were rattling most of the time.

But I am so glad, it’s a federal holiday today. Though back to that full week day routine. Sigh. But at least my plan now has a retire date, much closer than I had long expected. And that change, I am not sorry about.

Marvelous Monday to all.

I hated math too, and struggled with Algebra 1.
In Nursing school, we had to take Algebra.
Well, ALL of us didn't do well with the regular algebra classes, so they had to have a Algebra for Nurses course. I called it "algebra for dummies". I have never had to use algebra in all my nursing years. I did mix chemo once but that was done in the pharmacy under a hood and was no problem at all- no algebra involved!

As far as the teacher being gay: That was a big no-no back then. It was never heard of. At least he didn't get fired. He was an excellent teacher and person, just not wise in his after school activities.

I went with Lady Grey this AM. The idea of coffee still isn’t appealing.

Working those 2 big roasts I made on sunday. Today, doing a quasi french dip with them, fries and some pickled cubes. Yesterday, the remainder of rotisserie chicken made a decent chicken soup.

Tomorrow is a mystery, at best lol

I’d rather pay more for a reserved seat that is actually a seat.
I flat out refuse to do festival seating, even if let you bring a blanket
Thank you, 38 years
Woohoo! 40 is right around the corner
She is having physical therapy and is able to take a couple steps without her crutches. So slow and steady.
Wow, such a rehab with that surgery. Best wishes to her
Then he got a sinus infection to boot. I felt so sorry for the little guy.
As if it couldn’t get worse, poor kid
I only remember us baking muffins for some reason.
Can’t go wrong with (blueberry) muffins in my book. Haven’t had them in months.
I feel the same way about the zipper foot
Seriously, they are useless
I guess we get our years worth of carbs with that mea
Lol full of energy. I do love pasta
she can hardly claim the higher ground there on that one. Nasty woman.
That’s putting it mildly. To think they let her around kids
Our snow storm is to come on Thursday, as of 3 days ago. But today, they are saying no snow
They lie, don’t believe them :). We were supposed to get a dusting, not quite. First the slushy, then the heavy wet stuff & a nice dusting of fluffy on top overnight.
I wasn’t having the best day at work today, then at lunch I saw a video of David Tennant opening the BAFTAs. If that doesn’t make you smile then something is wrong with you.
Going to have to look for that clip.

Ah nothing like older one running into our bedroom late last night. See, his coworker’s DH is a local firefighter. He said the large, and very old, machine company was fully engulfed in a fire, almost an hour after I went to bed. Showed me on his phone, the whole two block wide building, all you saw was a huge fire. Then to have news helicopters above our house for some time shortly after older one’s news. Let’s just say, I didn’t get much sleep. But glad no one was hurt. The few inside were said to be safe. In years past, when I was young, that company had workers there 24 hours a day. Was traffic stopping, when a shift change, as hundreds of men coming and going from the parking lot across the street. But since I’ve been married,32 years now, rarely did any workers block the traffic, and never saw it open most nights and weekends. Sad.

And that fire last night, just means much more traffic for me on the was home today. Two main roads are blocked from cars turning left or right onto them, from the main drag I turn into from my cul de sac street.

Ah, that predawn ride into the city. Cold, and windy it was. Colder week we are to have. Teen numbers even day I commute. 18 this morning as I got out the door. Wind chill, local news said, feels like 5 degrees. Brr.

But happy, with that holiday Monday, it’s already the day to enjoy a taco or two. Probably not me though. We did a Taco Bell run yesterday. No matter, every Tuesday is always a Taco Tuesday.

And so, hope all have a Most Terrific Taco Tuesday. 🌮 🌮 ::yes::

Bored at work. Just spent the past 2 hours contacting clients about doing telehealth for the next 2 days. Now I’m waiting for the cancellations. We didn’t get any mail over the weekend, so I have nothing to do right now.

Last night over my neighbors
Beautiful!

He said the large, and very old, machine company was fully engulfed in a fire, almost an hour after I went to bed.
How very scary. So glad that no one was hurt.

Well, depending on which forecast you look at, we could have anywhere from 1-8 inches of snow tomorrow.

Hope your afternoon goes faster, Charade. Guess just say, you will see snow tomorrow. Ours forecast says nothing to 20 percent chance of snow. Seems to be hugging the coast by the time it reaches me on Thursday.

Lunchtime walk was around inside the building. Not going out for a walk when the wind chill makes it feel like it’s 6 degrees out. Nope. And real temp still below freezing with it 25 out. High temp, when going home is 27 degrees. Thank goodness for those heated car seats.

I am still useless with maths, but I do work out tips and things like that in a flash, always amuses Kyle who is a maths genius, very important in his career as a wealth planner!!!

When I did the Explosive Ordnance Degree, maths were a part of it for sure, but I had very good tutors who did help a little and I managed to work out what I needed, but never used any of it again. Never did work out why we needed to know what X was!!

Yes, it`s a different time today thankfully.

I flat out refuse to do festival seating, even if let you bring a blanket

Woohoo! 40 is right around the corner

Wow, such a rehab with that surgery. Best wishes to her

As if it couldn’t get worse, poor kid

Can’t go wrong with (blueberry) muffins in my book. Haven’t had them in months.

Seriously, they are useless

Lol full of energy. I do love pasta

That’s putting it mildly. To think they let her around kids

They lie, don’t believe them :). We were supposed to get a dusting, not quite. First the slushy, then the heavy wet stuff & a nice dusting of fluffy on top overnight.

Going to have to look for that clip.

Oh, haven`t had Lady Grey for a time! Might go order some. Also love blueberry muffins and cherry ones too!

What`s a pickled cube?? Nothing nicer than home made chicken soup from one`s own stock!

Oh she was a charmer, and she was one of the so called Guidance teachers who was supposed to encourage morality and goodness. After chasing a married man she was no longer allowed to do it. Everyone liked the male teacher involved though when I think back on it, but I`m sure they weren`t the only ones.

Hope your weather isn`t too bad!

Last night over my neighbors. Pictures do no justice. Sunset was 360 degrees of pink to orange. View attachment 939679

Lovely picture, I agree sometimes it doesn`t do the real look justice. We`re looking forward to the weather improving and getting back out walking and getting some pretty pictures again, still far too cold yet.

Another busy day, enjoying it though helping a friend out with writing, I should tell her I want credit for the work I`ve put in!!!

Freezing cold here, barely above freezing and it looks so nice outside, but poke your head out and it really isn`t! I don`t see any change in temps anytime soon, but it is still only February.

Made a lasagne for dinner tonight, swapped one pasta layer for layered mushrooms as it can be just too heavy, lovely. Made an Arugula and beet salad to go with it with a sweet and spicy balsamic dressing, went well together. Absolutely no room for dessert, but pot of tea is brewing right now and maybe a little ginger biscuit to go with it.

Couple of calls to make and then some tv with the old feet up! Glad it`s so cosy in here :)

Quick Tuesday morning stop in!!!

Busyish weekend. Went out and did all our shopping Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon and evening were spent being bossed around by the 5 yr old gd  We baked cookies, dinner was pizza ( her choice ) followed by a movie snuggling with Grammie and her ipad as dh was hogging the tv with hockey/Nascar and curling all weekend.

Weather is still bitterly cold. I didn't leave the house Sunday or Yesterday!!!! I wasn't moving. It was a lazy weekend with some baking, tidying some corners, and reading. I yelled a few choice words this morning when I stepped outside to head to work :cold:I'm just done with all this cold crappy weather. We can't even go outside to enjoy anything outside - it just too cold. It's been a long February and will continue for a bit yet.

Next week’s forecast is not looking good.
ewwwwwww. I'm glad the forecasted amount of snow wasn't as much as predicted. But the cold temps suck!
Hubby and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary on Wednesday
Congratulations. That is definitely a big milestone!
First day I’ve felt human and lost that whopper of a headache I’ve had since tuesday night. Followed the course of the mr’s flu, blaming it more for feeling like a zombie for days.
I hope you continue to improve. I also whipped up some chicken noodle soup last night. Along with some buns - that were HUGE. I will definitely make them again. Just next time I will make 15 instead of 12. They were a little excessive - but definitely tasty!!!!
mine will be coming up on 50 unless he ticks me off.
Another huge milestone!!!! That's amazing!!!!!
it was out of the ark from memory and one of my friends did it for me, teacher knew of course and said out loud in class one day (she was a cow) well,
What a horrible thing to say to someone. I have memories of one teacher like that! He was NOT a great teacher - and we butted heads often. Kids these days would NOT be able to deal with the way teachers treated us when we were going to school. I had one teacher (who quite honestly had taught my dad and my dad's older brother who is 10 years older than him and should have retired years before she taught me and my younger sister ) who separated the class into 2 groups - slow and fast. Could you imagine if a teacher did that to a classroom these days :rolleyes1 I still shake my head at those teachers.

Well, I should get a few more things done yet today.

Have a great day everyone!
