Something About Nothing............ #14

That's great! I've been thinking about when to go to Epic Universe, but wondering about waiting a year or so?

We love RPR too, and are booked for November this year. My son can't wait for our mom/son trip:)

LOL, I know what you mean. How many trips do you usually get year with DVC? I imagine it's as many as you want since you already own DVC. We thought about DVC, but never did do it!

That's great. I checked online and there are no house only tours for our Sunday, 11/3!!! We finally decided to do a house only tour and Sunday was the only day left of the HHN. It's disappointing, as that is the kind of thing I am interested in; ie: seeing how Universal sets up their special effects and things like that.

I finally got in gear today and did the housework I have been putting off for a while now:) When you are retired, it is easy to just say, I'll do it next week, LOL.

????? Girl Scout cookies in Meat Loaf? I've never heard of that.

I read that they are only offering 3 day stays with all 3 parks. Only one of those days is for Epic. I don't know if that is right or not, just online chatter about this. People seem upset that they are not going to have day of tickets, only a 3 day/ 3 park stay (not including the water park). To me that seems ok. They must be expecting huge crowds for Epic only, that this ticket will help spread out the crowds. Have you heard anything??

You and Tom amaze me on being able to walk that far. I worked up to one mile on time, but no more:)

We love meat loaf to with mashed potatoes. The only problem is that now we have 80's and I hate to heat up the kitchen with the oven.

I sympathize. We are finally getting hot weather. Upper 80's for the next 7 days!

Pumpkin, we used to fish a lot when we owned our resort (in the off season of course:) What kind of fish do you usually go for? We usually fished for walleye or perch.

Mac, that's way too hot for me. We were used to that kind of heat when we lived in Tn. But after living in the frigid north country, that would kill us now, LOL.

I love Mexican food. That sounds really wonderful, Janet.

I can't believe that it's taken that long for you to feel better! Not acceptable. I hope you get it cleared up with the tech before your next visit.

I can't take deep tissue massage either, Robo, with my fibromyalgia. It just makes me feel worse.

Good thoughts are heading your way. Hope you are finished with the procedure now and doing well:)
Carole, for some reason I hit something, grrr, and lost your quote. I think it was about what kind of mashed potatoes are thin???? I think they were referring to those instant mashed potatoes which can turn out quite watery. I tried them once and they turned out like cement, not water, LOL. I only fix "real" mashed potatoes now:)

It looks like I wiped out all the quotes and only answered some. I will get it right next time:guilty::guilty:. I hope those answers above don't look too dumb.:sad2: Sorry if I missed anyone with the lost quotes. I did respond to everyone.......

It's been a busy morning for me today. I finally talked myself into doing some cleaning that I've been avoiding, LOL.
It feels good to get it done, but I am a sore person right about now.

I did a dumb thing yesterday and fell down coming up the steps into the house. I was carrying a pan of sugar water after refilling the hummingbird feeder. I don't know how it happened, but I ended up hitting my head against the antique wooden school chair in the entry and spilling that sticky water all over the carpet, my shoes, and anything else in the way. What a mess:headache: I have bruises on my knees and on my head. Also a scaped knee which I put antibiotic cream and a bandaid on. I had to reclean the mess this AM because I didn't do a very good job after falling like that. Today I'm just very sore and achy. It was one of those things that just "happen". Oh well, it's a good excuse to take the rest of the day off. I know I shouldn't have cleaned while feeling sore, but I'm stubborn that way sometimes:confused3
.
Roger has been helping me out and now I am resting!

Hope everyone has a good Tuesday,

your clumsy friend,

ruth

I think there is so much more to be announced with the new park, I guess patience is a good thing to have till it`s all announced!!! I agree, it`ll be mobbed for a long time.

Walking is about the only exercise we do, but living right on the sea, it`s easy to walk further than you plan to. Excpet for days like today, although ironically, after not stopping raining all day, the sun is shining now!! We`ll get out in the morning though.

You and your son will have an amazing trip together. What dates did you choose, they just announced all the Holiday stuff starts Nov 22nd till Dec 31st this year.

lol....I just did it too!!! Tried to add the quote above to my previous post and failed.....lol....oh dear!!!

Oh I know the stuff you mean, yes cement might be a good description, never use anything like that but I didn`t think you could buy anything like that anymore. Yes, always real mash here.....creamy and buttery all the way!!!

I hope you`re doing ok after your fall!! Yes, if you`re in pain, don`t do anything, but we women tend to power through when things need doing. But yes, you`re confined to your comfy chair now M`lady!!!!

And your quotes are just fine Ruth ::yes::

Off to chop us up a mango each and mix them with some Scottish strawberries.....lush!!!

every year, the big day comes around in my parts…actually, in a grocery store an hour or so away in an old coal mine village.

One year I’m going to drive out and sit in the parking lot to watch the festivities. I can only imagine the humongous containers the hill folks toss in the back of their pickup trucks to fill up with free sweet tea on the occasion.

You know you are a redneck…

If you bring your own sweet tea container to the grocery store
There is nothing like getting back into real life like having to break out a mop
That is a truism!
I know I am lucky that my bad choices didn't result in such tragic results.
I’ve enough to fill at least one book. My thots, as long as you survive said poor choice, own it & learn from the experience (not to pull that stunt again); no need to beat yourself up.

A lot :) pretty much covers all our MCO travel with exception of bonus trips or an add on day or two.

Pretty sure that’s why I have sticker shock when staying onsite @ U lol

The great tater debate!

These (not to be confused with standard sort of instant taters) are actually edible if time is short, as long as you use cream and lots of butter

your clumsy friend,
Lucky you didn’t break something! I’m a klutz, feel your pain.

Slower afternoon. All my tasks are done - even clipboards are done for tomorrow's consults and follow ups.

I am trying to find a good youtube video to send to ds to see if they want to go to Epcot on our trip or use it for another Universal day - or maybe even SW.

I had to laugh over the weekend. We went out for dinner - and got talking about the trip. I loosely told them my plan. Dh was shocked I had so many park days booked. So he starts researching - and he's like - Big thunder mountain - we need to do that! Guardians of the Galaxy - we need to do that!!! Then he's like we missed Mummy and men in black, and the new minions and a couple of others - And I responded " Yup...that's why there are so many parks days!!!! And I told him we NEED TO see the fireworks with the castle in MK. It's one of those not to miss things.

I'm trying to be strategic in our park days and following crowd calendars somewhat - especially booking our Disney days! I have a feeling we might need to do our gator/airboat tour when we go to Clearwater one day. I'm soooo freaking excited!!!! I can't wait!

Pumpkin, we used to fish a lot when we owned our resort (in the off season of course:) What kind of fish do you usually go for? We usually fished for walleye or perch.
That is mainly what we fish for. WE still haven't found where the perch are. But we mainly catch walleye or northern pike (aka slough sharks) . We can't keep pike, but we have been lucky enough to catch walleye in the slot requirements.
I did a dumb thing yesterday and fell down coming up the steps into the house.
I have done that!!! I hope your not too stiff for too long.

There is a permanent dent in our wall from me tripping in my flip flops - and trying to catch myself which resulted in me head butting the wall :rotfl: The family still laughs about that! I am not allowed to wear flip flops anymore :rolleyes1

I made those one.....and only once - NEVER again. I am like @schumigirl I would rather take the few minutes to peel and cut potatoes. Even if I am making something like shepard's pie.

Wel...it's almost home time.

Have a great evening everyone. If anyone knows of good epcot videos shoot them my way ;)

Robbie, check in when you can today and let us know how you are.

Hope your surgery went smooth.

Absolutely, hope Robbie is doing ok and checks in as soon as she feels up to it.

I want to come watch with you!!!! That sounds hilarious.....what some folks will do for a freebie!!! But sweet tea......bleurgh!!!

So, the carton has real potatoes in the box, but it`s pre cooked? I have never seen anything like that, but then I don`t go looking for it in stores, so I guess that`s why!

Saw the wonderful Meat Loaf pop up in an episode of Monk the other night, he wasn`t the worst actor in the world. I do enjoy watching Ted Levine in that show, one hell of a guy in real life and his character is the complete antithesis of Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs. We watched that recently, cracking movie.

Dishes like cottage or shepherd`s pie will soon be on the menu again! I`m convinced our summer is already over right now!!! Surely not.

I hate flip flops for that very reason, I almost went butt over elbow shall we say going into the Florida Mall one day, quite the sight and all down to wedge style crocs....yes, the "fancy" crocs @keishashadow ......lol......

We ended up having thunder and lightning last night, but disappointingly, only a couple of flashes and it disappeared as quick as it arrived. Rain did go off for a couple of hours, but started again and I think it might have stopped now, hard to tell as it`s so murky outside.

So, hopefully walking this morning, then out to lunch with some friends, it feels quite ages since we last got together, going to a new-ish cafe bar that`s opened and offers small plate options for sharing, sounds nice.

Will see Kyle briefly tonight, he`s parking his car here to go do a 10K run on the seafront, he doesn`t want any food......always my first question.....can we feed you lol......hope the rain is off by then, but runners don`t seem to notice the rain when they run!!

Croissants, baked ham and fruit this morning to go with our tea, out for lunch, snack for dinner if we need it.

Have a lovely Wednesday...middle of the week again.

Super slow day at work today. We didn’t get any mail, so I have no payments to post. I’m spending the day going through my problem file to see if I can get any resolutions.

I have never been to a chiropractor either. Honestly a little afraid of them.
Add me to the list of people who have never been to a chiropractor. Dh swears by his. I grew up near what was once a chiropractic college (now a full university) and several students lived in my neighborhood. They were all a little weird in their beliefs, so I have always been wary of chiropractors.

Procedure on face today. Praying for good results and not much tissue to be removed.
Hope everything went well.

Winter has arrived.

It`s chucking it down with rain and slightly cool!
I wish we could trade weather with you for a while. It is so hot here and we desperately need rain.

Unless things have changed recently, the dessert party viewing is on a nearly identical walkway that runs parallel to the one for dinner. Many people do prefer it.

Note that the view is a bit distant but, unobstructed. It does get rather windy, caution if wearing a dress.
I hadn’t considered the wind. I’m concerned about standing out on the walkway though. I’m not fond of heights.

did read a story afterwards about the issue. He & the mrs loved the holiday. Had their own block party every year to celebrate with the neighbors. Was actually wearing a full on Uncle Sam costume, complete with the hat…when he made the fatal error of placing the rocket on said hat. in full view of his wife before she could stop him. She made statement including that he started to drink heavily late afternoon, assume his judgement was quite impaired
I suspected that alcohol was involved. So tragic.

Quiet night last night. It was a scorcher ( for us anyways ) 96 F last night
You’re getting our weather now.

????? Girl Scout cookies in Meat Loaf? I've never heard of that.
It sounds weird, but was really good. The original recipe was for meatballs, but I adapted it for a meatloaf. The cookies were called Cranberry Citrus Crips and weren’t very sweet. The recipe used crushed cookies instead of breadcrumbs and had a sauce made from BBQ sauce and cranberry sauce. Unfortunately those cookies went out of production several years ago.

I read that they are only offering 3 day stays with all 3 parks. Only one of those days is for Epic. I don't know if that is right or not, just online chatter about this. They must be expecting huge crowds for Epic only, that this ticket will help spread out the crowds. Have you heard anything??
I am really interested to find out how they are going to handle this. I have heard rumor about requiring a multi day package with only one day allowed for Epic Universe, but wonder how that will work for guests staying at the Grand Helios.

they just announced all the Holiday stuff starts Nov 22nd till Dec 31st this year.
Darn, I’m going to be too early.

One year I’m going to drive out and sit in the parking lot to watch the festivities. I can only imagine the humongous containers the hill folks toss in the back of their pickup trucks to fill up with free sweet tea on the occasion.
That would be awesome. I love sweet tea, but am restricted on how much I can have now. It’s not a good beverage for those who have had kidney stones.

Sounds like he is really on board now. I am so ready to start planning my Disney trip, but can’t do anything for several months.

It's hump day :surfweb: it's a full day in the unit today.

Quiet night last night. I sat outside to read for a bit - until I got too warm, then retreated inside where it was a bit cooler. When I went to bed last night at 11:00 it was still 32C about 90sih F . It had cooled down by this morning and with the windows open and fans going the house was nice and cool again. One more hot day here - then we will be back to more manageable warm temps.

Dinner was grilled chicken and caesar salad. That was not enough for the boys/men. They were up not long after dinner fixing sandwiches for snacks :rotfl: I guess tonight I'll have to come up with something that is a little more substantial.

I am also in the camp of never been to a chiropractor. I do go for massage - but no " adjustments" like that. That scares the bejesus out of me. And no one can convince me otherwise.

It is very interesting what the conversation about Epic opening. They will need something to control the amount of people what will want to come and check it out. I can see us going to visit it one time as well. But then again - we love Florida! DD rolls her eyes at her dad when DH talks about how much he loves Florida.

Well, off to complete a few more tasks!

Have a great day everyone!

I love anything with cranberry and bbq sauce!! Used to make a spicy sweet meatball that everyone loved, the sauce was exceptional! And cranberry cookies....lush!!

lol....we`re so used this type of weather, it`s not unusual, usually we get someone saying how much worse they get it :rolleyes1Just means we get to snuggle up more!!!! I think we might get some more lightning tonight, don`t mind that as it`s very impressive to see it over the sea.

I heard folks were complaining to Universal it was starting too late for them, yes, it has started earlier. I`m surprised it`s not on till Jan 2nd though.

Hope your day passes well....and yes, bet you`re looking forward to start planning your trip!!

Well, it`s still raining.....waiting for Kyle to come and park up to go run in all this rain.....

Lunch out was nice, good old chin wag and sorting the world and it`s problems out, no need for any snacks tonight as we are full, I think we all ordered too many small plates, which turned out not to be as small as we thought. Hey ho we`ll know next time.

Watched Insidious 2 this afternoon, snuggled up with the drapes closed and a throw around us, it was very cosy as it was miserable outside. Not much better now.

Will see what tomorrow brings for walking, but a night in front of the tv, chat to Kyle when he comes back from his race, then maybe some more tv, I have started a new book, but can do both at the same time.

Cuppa tea time for us :)

Hey pumpkin.....just saw you pop in there.....glad you still have some much warmer weather, make the most of it!!!

Yep, chiropracters don`t need to be as qualified as a proper physiotherapist here, so nope, not for me.

Had no idea what to fix for dinner so made an executive decision it will be left overs.
How easy is that….lol

Nothing in my fridge sounds exciting.

Will send Mr Mac to Publix tomorrow for red meat and pork.

Did tell him I am chicken “out.”
It’s off my list for the week.

Always can fall back for meals in town when we want fish for dinner.
It’s never high prices.

still haven't found where the perch
I haven’t had perch in decades. Rarely on restuarant menus here, the frozen stuff in grocery looks lacking
So, the carton has real potatoes in the box, but it`s pre cooked? I
No, it’s a dehydrated form, not the same texture as the regular mashed potato flakes if that makes sense?

All you are instructed to add is water. We swim against the tide & always add cream and butter. Believe our “doctoring it up” is key to being passable. The texture is very similar to home made mashed potatoes vs any other mix I’ve tried.

Still, won’t argue, fresh made generally better…

Unless, it’s my in-laws’ versionso_O spackle
IMG_5659.jpeg

yes, the "fancy" crocs @keishashadow
Lol
always my first question.....can we feed you lol......hope the rain is off by then, but runners don`t seem to notice the rain when they run!!
I’m sure he will be a starvin’ Marvin afterwards!
I hadn’t considered the wind. I’m concerned about standing out on the walkway though. I’m not fond of heights.
Me neither, unless I’m strapped in a plane :). The railings are high & secure. I had no issue with being up so high, think the fact it was night and there was such a glorious view it never crossed my mind.
Hi Lynne. You snuck in while I was posting. Poor camel.
Seriously, he looks parched
I love anything with cranberry and bbq sauce
I like each, separately though. Wanted to like that meatball recipe when it first came out decades ago and everyone else did. What’s funny is every now & again I find it pop up on a potluck buffet. The contributor is always so excited to have stumbled upon “a new” dish and so eager to have me try it. Can’t bring myself to burst their bubble…take one to be polite and hide it under my napkin. Everything old is eventually new again.

One easy dish i do like is nothing more than can of whole cranberry sauce & package of dry onion soup mixed together and dumped over boneless chicken filets & baked. Normally, not the sort to make that recipe but sooo good, even my picky family will eat it. Sauce good over rice too

Now that I’m hungry, off to eat my chef salad lol

Chicken noodle soup with my own leftover chicken, then cookies and cream ice cream. Perfect summer dinner.

And what did my DH bring home from his mom’s house? A fur coat. Um, so darn hot out, will take to cleaners to get it ready for winter. Hoping not cold enough for it though. lol

Good Wednesday evening everyone :wave2:

IMG_3824.gif

Missed you setting off Robbie, but all good wishes for today, hope it all goes well and with no issues, will be thinking of you!
Thank you Carole all went well.

Winter has arrived.
Sorry to hear your cooler weather has returned. I would gladly send you some of our heat.

Hope everything goes well for you!
Thank you Janet.

Interestingly, have had several friends, who work in the field share the same sentiment. They declared themselves “the worst” patients. Not that they gave their medical providers grief by any means! More that they knew the ropes and found themselves on high alert as to what’s going on around them…to point they couldn’t really “relax” and put themselves in other’s hands. Said the same thing would happen, to a lessor degree, when a family member was the patient
It is good and bad to be on this side of the medical field. You know the possible outcomes in various scenarios. The doc was wonderful on my consult meeting and answered any questions. I felt confident in him.

I did have a sleepless night before the procedure because there were definitely unknowns involved.

With my family I’am very protective. Honestly if they know you are a Nurse they are more on their toes to make sure all is right.

It is nice to have someone medical in the family to make sure things are being done appropriately in the hospital. Sadly you need to be on guard in this day and age.

I hope it goes well and that the recuperation is minimal.
Thank you.

Good thoughts are heading your way. Hope you are finished with the procedure now and doing well:)
Thank you Ruth.

did a dumb thing yesterday and fell down coming up the steps into the house.

Sorry to hear about your fall. I hope you feel better soon. You will be in my prayers.

Robbie, check in when you can today and let us know how you are.

Hope your surgery went smooth.
Everything went well Mac. Thank you for checking in.

There is a permanent dent in our wall from me tripping in my flip flops - and trying to catch myself which resulted in me head butting the wall :rotfl: The family still laughs about that! I am not allowed to wear flip flops anymore :rolleyes1
Ouch……Glad to hear you survived the fight with the wall……I’am fairly clumsy….our son keeps telling me he is going to buy me steel toed slippers because I have broken my toes by hitting furniture so many times.

I'm trying to be strategic in our park days and following crowd calendars somewhat - especially booking our Disney days! I have a feeling we might need to do our gator/airboat tour when we go to Clearwater one day. I'm soooo freaking excited!!!! I can't wait!
Part of the fun of your trip is looking forward to all the fun things you have planned. Enjoy the fun of the planning.

Absolutely, hope Robbie is doing ok and checks in as soon as she feels up to it.
Checking in.

Hope Kyle had a good run this evening. I’am sure you had a warm cup of tea for him to warm him up afterwards.

Hope everything went well.
Thank you Charade.

Unless, it’s my in-laws’ versionso_O spackle
I have seen spackle potatoes before….LOL….you almost wonder if they have planned to lock everyone’s mouth up.

There may or may not have been spackle instant potato stalactites on the ceiling of my dad and stepmoms kitchen. My brother and I were pretty good with our spoons. Those plaster of paris instant potatoes were wicked.

Up early yesterday for the procedure. Arrived on time. Everyone was so nice. I had prayed that the first round of cutting would do it.

The way the procedure is set up is they cut out the area of cancer and a little more tissue around it. Then send it off to pathology if it comes back with clear non-cancerous margins then you are done. If there is still cancer in the margins then he would go back and remove more tissue and so on until clean margins are achieved.

My prayer was that the first go around would take care of it. My prayers were answered. After the first go round the pathology came back good and we were done. I was so relieved.

It is a small area near my nose so we decided to try and see if area will fill in and heal by itself. If he had attempted to stitch it it would not have turned out as well cosmetically. He told me if I’am not pleased with the results after healing he would fix it. He said it should fill in and I would have a small indented scar that would fade over time. I can deal with that.

He was a wonderful doc.

Don’t think I shared this. Not long after I was diagnosed I noticed a mole about 2 inches under our son’s right eye. I told him to go in and Have it checked out and he has basal cell cancer too. The same doc is going to do our sons procedure in August. I felt bad for him having to go through this too, but thankful it was caught.

Glad it is over. A little sleep deprived from Monday night and last night. Hopefully good night sleep tonight.

Thank you all, for your kind thoughts.

It was nice to see the Epic Universe Model when I was at Universal recently. I’am sure there is going to be a massive amount of folks that want to get into the park. Universal is going to have to come up with a plan to help control how many people will be in the park at one time when it first opens.

Epic Universe sounds amazing. Like Carole I would like to have a stay at the Helios hotel too. If it fits the description it should be wonderful.

I remember seeing in the news when Hogsmeade opened to the public and the lines were terrible to get into IOA. Can’t imagine what the hoopla will be with a new park.

Have a wonderful evening everyone.

Thank you Carole all went well.

Sorry to hear your cooler weather has returned. I would gladly send you some of our heat.

Thank you Janet.

It is good and bad to be on this side of the medical field. You know the possible outcomes in various scenarios. The doc was wonderful on my consult meeting and answered any questions. I felt confident in him.

Robo: Just a quick note to say I'm so glad all went well and you had a good prognosis.
I am an RN too, and know what you mean about knowing what's going on. So glad to hear you are doing well.

Hard to go wrong with chicken, but yes a good mix with steak, fish, pork and anything else we fancy is good for dinner.

Not many cheap places over here, the cheap ones you wouldn`t want to eat at!! Well, some are ok, but few and far between.

I haven’t had perch in decades. Rarely on restuarant menus here, the frozen stuff in grocery looks lacking

Lol

I’m sure he will be a starvin’ Marvin afterwards!

Me neither, unless I’m strapped in a plane :). The railings are high & secure. I had no issue with being up so high, think the fact it was night and there was such a glorious view it never crossed my mind.

Seriously, he looks parched

I don`t think we have anything like that over here for potato...maybe we do and I`ve never noticed. Yes, I can imagine cream and butter would work better than water in that case.

I haven`t made that cranberry/bbq mix for years, yes it was popular, I prefer to make my own IKEA type sauce when we have meatballs, only make it more like a pepper sauce, but creamier, everyone loves it. Oh lordy I agree, it`s not new by any means, I first heard of it in the 1980`s I think.

lol....I tried to feed him, but nop he had some water and that was it!!!!

Hope you enjoyed that salad!!

Sounds like a great dinner that I would eat.
Can never go wrong with chicken noodle soup topped off with cookies and ice cream!

lol.....I just mentioned chicken noodle soup the other day when we spoke of soups!!! What a coincidence. I adore my own chicken noodle soup, thankfully so does everyone else  one of these soups that`s good to share.

I do like ice cream though, but usually make my own, can`t be beaten.

I may have dreamt this but I`m sure I saw some ice cream packs with horror characters on the tubs recently and don`t know where I saw them or if I imagined it?????

Hope you`re staying cool with that heat!

Thank you Robbie, Kyle rather strangely doesn`t drink tea or coffee, never has, we never gave him anything like that as a child, so even in work meetings when everyone has something like that he sticks to water. He did enjoy the race though.

I`m so glad to hear everything went well and the results were good. I hope you`re happy with the scar when it fades, I`m sure it will, they do things so much better today than they did years ago. Continued good wishes going forward and of course for your son too, and yes, thank goodness you noticed it and it`s being dealt with.

And hope you managed to have a good nights sleep last night, we feel so much better when we sleep well. It`s my answer to everything, have a good sleep......

I think we want to avoid that park for a while, it is going to be crazy, but they seem to be taking steps to avoid that craziness when Potter first opened. And yes, Helios is going to be incredibly stunning!!!

Well, Kyle came in soaked last night, the rain just didn`t stop but they all enjoyed the race, then he ran the 2km or so to our home from the end of the race, don`t know how he does it, I think being as fit as a fiddle helps him!!! Had warm towels ready for him and he got changed into dry clothes.

And yesterday his bosses announced to the rest of the office that Kyle is getting promoted and it`s a big one, we are so incredibly proud of him and he is quite pleased to be getting his own office next month to go with the promotion, everyone was so pleased for him as are we of course. So, we need to celebrate that too of course!!!

Today, it looks grey and cloudy, but it`s quite humid again so I think we`ll walk early then go do some grocery shopping. Tom is volunteering this afternoon so I`ll find something to do here. I was supposed to be doing a spa day with my friend today but she had to cancel as she has hurt her foot falling off a horse!! Poor gal can barely walk, but it`s not broken at least, so we`ll postpone that for a time until she is better.

Toast with preserves this morning then out, no idea for lunch but dinner will be something cooked on the bbq outside as although it`s not warm, we`ll have no rain or wind, so my husband does like to cook on it, I`ll find something.

Thursday again.....and I think it might be 9 weeks till we leave for our trip!!!! How`d that happen that it`s only 9 weeks!!
