I’m bored.
Slow day today and I’ve run out of problems to research.
I thought I had found a good flight out of Roanoke. Only $198 round trip. The problem is that it arrives in Orlando just after midnight. I don’t want to be getting in that late.
I just hope B can get those days off work. I won’t book flights until I know for sure.
I don’t think I have ever taken a 5 am flight before. I wish SW flew out of my airport or Roanoke. They have some good rates for my trip, but the added expenses of going to Richmond negate the savings.
It always looks so tranquil.
I need to go find something to do. I don’t even have an insurance company to argue with today.
Our beach is very tranquil indeed, we have always walked in the mornings enjoying 5-6 miles a day and yes, it is a beautiful place to walk. It never gets overly busy especially early am when we tend to walk. However it can be very wild in the winter, not pretty and very, very grey oh and don`t forget cold!! In saying that, we don`t walk on the sand, we stick to the promenade which runs for most of the walk, sand can be quite hard to walk on if it`s soft.
Good luck with the flights, we did arrive once after midnight when we flew in from New York with Jet Blue, it wasn`t bad at all, incredibly quiet, but maybe not by choice. And yes hope your daughter can get the time off work for your trip.
lol....glad you have no fights today with those insurance folks!!
Hey mac, just saw you pop in before I posted...good to see you and enjoy that heat!!!!

We did end up going back out a second walk today after the butcher visit, it was so lovely, almost warm....almost!!! Both took our hoodies off after a couple of miles in, such a difference in the last few weeks, but now...it`s raining. No grilling those steaks outside tonight.
My friend Sue came over with her grandson this afternoon, he is a handful but gorgeous!!! I think he will be a heartbreaker for sure. She brought over some of her baking, she is the best baker I have ever met, nothing ever goes wrong and it`s always light as a feather. So, we passed an hour or so chatting and wandered down to the fruit trees when the little guy got a little restless.
I made some dauphinoise potatoes for tonight and some spring greens cooked in butter....yep, lots of butter, perfect with rare steaks, fillet for me and a rather huge sirloin for Tom, enjoyed a large glass of Malbec too which is always nice. Perfect meal, it was gorgeous.
Pot of tea time now and a slice of my friend`s lemon butter cake...lush!
