Someone please explain to me about Oogie Boogie Bash

So I'm going to surprise my DD with a trip to Vid Con Oct 22 to the 24th. I think it's safe to assume OBB will be one of those nights. I've skimmed articles that say it will be a scaled down version of Mickey's Not so scary Halloween party. How so, besides reduced capacity? I've been to DL 20 times, but have never attended one of their Halloween parties.

Nothing has been announced about Halloween parties for DLR for this year.

MNSSHP is WDW and they will be doing the "Boo Bash" thing. DLR previously did MHP (Mickey's Halloween Party) before changing to the OBB.

I have been to both the WDW and DLR version of the Halloween parties. They are fairly similar hard ticket events. I don’t feel confident that they will happen this year at DLR, but we can dream. This may help you get a sense for what OOB is like. There are lots of videos etc of the different elements of the party throughout the park:
