even if I feel a bit queasy when I "return" from Mars. I prefer to ride it first thing in the morning before I've eaten much. Any queasy feeling is not so bad that I need to sit down or stop doing other things afterwards. The queasiness depends on the person, as does the claustrophobia.
WOW! I think I'll pass this ride! I want to enjoy and have fun... I don't want to get sick! It's not a "scary" ride...it's just sickening.

that almost made me chicken out, more cause of being afraid of maybe losing it and actually pounding on the door ala the stewart post..wouldn't be the first time ,,, see the thread "me and the tom saywer caves"

not that i don't feel your pain but YF just makes me laugh just thinking about it

), but that's about it... I was mostly worried about the enclosed space. They have nice, cool, moving air blowing on you the entire time - made it OK with me.
). He went to the ride's exit, and bought Dramamine - and insisted I take it before we rode.
Other said if you take coffee with some medicine before the ride you be ok. I did not know there was
.I will probally skip it this year.
My DD5, DD10 and me went on it twice. It is not for anyone who gets dizzy spinning around. My DH who is proned to motion sickness was going to try it but after the fifth or six warning as we approached the area where you go into 'space ship' I convinced him not too - glad I did because he would have been soooo sick for the next day or so. If you can't do the tilt-a-whirl - stay off. For those of you who really like to spin, it is incredible - never experienced anything like it before. You can feel the skin on your face pull back from the G force.k5thbeatle said:The feeling of "blasting off" comes from the force exerted when the capsule you are in starts to spin. The difference is that you do not realize you are spinning because of the capsule screen you are monitoring. Your only clue that you are spinning is that you will feel pressure forcing you back into your seat and again with the screen in front of you, you are tricked into feeling like you are "taking off".
So the problem with most on this ride is dealing with motion sickness issues. You are spinning but being fooled into believing that you are blasting off.

I had an instant headache as soon as the Rock N Roll Coaster took off. Could be I was just too tense, desperately trying to keep my head back against the headrest to avoid whiplash!

Mission Space?!?!?!?!?
The worst ride ever. I don't know how it is safe and fun. You want to talk about being helpless!! That's the ride for you? Another 30 seconds and I would have lost it. Thank goodness you stay on Mars and not have to travel to Uranus or Pluto or even back to Earth!! I was happy to stagger off the ride. My friend told me I looked green in the face. I was glad to relinquish my fast pass ticket. I learned during those long minutes I could never be an astronaut!
