Do you don't need at least 150 in order to book the restricted resorts? I guess I just assumed you had to meet the member benefit eligibility to be able to book those at the 7-month mark.

No, any direct purchased points can be used at any DVC resort even the restricted ones. 150 gets you membership extras like Moonlight Magic and Lounge access.

To add, even if you add the 150 for membership extras, the resale points bought post 2019 will never be valuable at the restricted resorts.

Basically, it’s the points that derrrmne where they are used. All current owners can add on direct with 25 or more points and those direct points are good everywhere.
