Someone on Facebook is bragging about getting too-short kid on Space Mountain ugh

We do not know anyone was at risk, and surely the height requirements are set such that there is some tolerance for human error by the measuring CMs. I highly doubt a child was endangered by stuffing his shoes with tissues. As to everyone claiming it's so awful to teach him to lie or cheat, the Dis is full of ideas on how to cheat the system or exploit unenforced rules.

They could just come to DL where Space Mt is only 40 inch. I won't be going back to WDW until all my kids are 44 inches - with Space and ExEv at 44, it would just make the youngest child mad.

I'll be the contrarian here. Sounds like a great idea for a child who is just a hair to short and really wants to ride the ride.

For anyone who thinks it's a HUGE SAFETY CONCERN, do you really think Disney engineers and lawyers would allow the cutoff mark to be right on the border of what's safe or dangerous? Of course not. The height requirements are set well above the true minimum safety level.
