Someone gave my kids a giant monkey!

We went to Hershey park yesterday(had a great time) and on our way out a young guy(around 19 or so) was walking by us carrying one of those huge monkeys you win at the games. The kids were laughing and saying aww...look at the monkey.

I saw the guy turn around and then he walked up next to me and waved the monkeys hand at the kids, they laughed and then he said to me in a low voice..Do they like monkeys? I said yeh sure......he then said Do they want the monkey? I was shocked and said seriously? He said Yeh sure, I don't want it and they can have it. He sat it on top of the Disney type rental double stroller and walked away! The kids yelled thank you and then he was gone......lol.

We couldn't believe how nice he was to do that, it made the kids night and was just a really cool thing to do. On our way out people were asking where we won it and we told them that someone gave it to the kids and they were all shocked.

That was really nice of that guy. It could be small things that strangers do that will make your day extra special, and I guess he knew that it would make your kids happy .

monkeyboy's found a new home. He won't be living in a van no more!

sorry, that thought just popped in my head. It's wonderful to see that chivalry and kindness isn't dead in this world.
