So how are people supposed to follow ME?

Not that anyone wants to follow me.

But, how does this work if there are two of you with the same name? :confused3

That other gal also has a blog named after her, as well as a Facebook page. But, I scarfed up the .com & .net versions of my web domain name long ago!

I know! Somehow, I'm going to have to include a hidden Mickey in all my Tweets so people will know it's the real me. :earsboy: ;)

If your daring enough, you can put your middle name also. I dont know if that would exceed the character limit though

I think my DDIL took my first initial/last name before I even thought of doing Twitter. I use my first initial/maiden name/last name. (I am very selective - I only have 4 followers) ha - yeah, that's it: I'm selective!

I thought like Facebook, you use your own name? (I still haven't registered yet.) How are people supposed to find you otherwise to follow you?

Lots of ways.

They can search you by your town / network. They can search you by your HS and graduation date... same with college. You can provide them with the email address you used to sign up for FB.

FB even has a section on the site to tell you how to get your friends on board with you. :)

I'll be your friend. :thumbsup2

You can use whatever name you want as your screen name on Twitter, as long as it isn't taken. There is also a space for your real name if you use a different screen name and want to include your actual name as well. I use a screen name, and in the real name spot I have my first name. If you put your real name in, people will find you when they search for you - twitter will bring up your screen name in the search results.
