I apologize for the simple concept I’ve made difficult lol. I’m checking in to OKW on May 29 and leaving on June 3. When can I make my dining reservations? Is it 60 days? Or is it 60 days +10? If it’s +10, will MDE recognize my reservation and unlock those days prior to my 60 day window? As of now, the days are being unlocked at the 60 day mark. Feel free to answer my question with an explanation or just give me the dang date lol.

Your calendar will automatically update to include all the days thru June 3 (when you are exactly 60 days before check in. Until then you will only see 60 day availability. Enjoy your trip!

You can book for may 29 60 days out from that day. All of the other days of your trip should be unlocked 60 days prior to may 29th - which is March 30th. So on March 30th you can book for 5/29 - 6/3

3/30 is your day. 60 calendar days (i.e. not just two months prior - though sometimes it works out that way). The +10 comes in such that you are able to make reservations, starting 3/30 for your stay beginning 5/29 plus up to ten days, if applicable. This is the calculator I always use. MDE should update automatically and show your window open as of 3/30.

So where does the +10 concept come in?
+10 is the maximum amount of extra days you can book ADR‘s beyond 60 days before your check in date. If your stay is less than 10 days long you don’t get all 10 extra days.

So where does the +10 concept come in?
...So, on March 30 you will finally see all the days of your resort reservation are available to make dining reservations. If there is an important, hard to get, reservation you want, you might want to try for the latest day you can reserve, although your stay may not be long enough to get the really difficult hard to book restaurants. Unfortunately, +6 or more may be needed for some restaurants.

Here is a calculator, you enter the start date of your trip and it will tell you the day your reservations open. On that day you can book the first day AND the rest of your trip (up to 10 days). Some reservations open at 5:30 am (dessert parties); Some may open at midnight; most open at 6:00 am est.

Other people who checkin earlier than you (and with a similar length trip) will have access to the ADRs for the first few days of your trip, so there will be limited availability and almost nothing for top restaurants like Space220 (so try for the end of your trip for these).

Will the online adrs be open on July 4th?
Do you mean will you be able to book ADRs online on July 4? Yes, the online booking system is open pretty much 24/7/365, unless it’s down for maintenance (which is usually in the wee hours of the morning, ET).

Great, thanks! Somehow in my 20+ years of planning I don’t think I’ve ever had to do it on a holiday before. 🙂
