Somebody's Gonna Pee in a Cup, West Coast - Link to new TR 1/21

THis is making me nervous. I REALLY hope this doesn't happen to us!
I hope not. You'd think they'd do a better job of monitoring the bus stops particularly for people who have these early ADR's.

Note to self send DH for the first round of plates just incase!
:rotfl::lmao:

THis is getting aqctually looking forward to this meal.
It was fun to see them light up for the Disney Jr. characters.

:rotfl:Well as long as he's happy!
Pretty much. :thumbsup2

The very reason its on our agenda as well. Got to let Little Miss get her Doc Love.
::yes::

Thats nice to know. From what I heard I have been bracing myself for a mediocre meal at best.
Yeah. I mean it is breakfast. It isn't anything spectacular. But they've got the typical fruits, breakfast foods... eggs, bacon, waffles. You know, typical Disney breakfast buffet. And it's right there with any of the others I've had as far as quality, I felt.

When did you end up getting in there? Thats not bad.
I honestly don't remember. I kind of quit paying attention to the time as we were waiting outside the park. I was just getting frustrated and it wasn't helping make things go faster! :rotfl:

It was after 8:30 though. Once we were in there, we got food right away and the characters were at our table in no time at all.

Well you get husband points for not rushing her through her meal!:rotfl2:
Who said I wasn't trying to rush her... :rolleyes1

Always hard when plans like that fail.
::yes:::

:thumbsup2 Why ever not?!?:rotfl:
Seriously... I felt like I was one of those people going to Disney World for the first time and having no idea what they're doing.

Glad that you can cut it that close and get good seats.
::yes:: It really wasn't even that close. We still had a few minutes left on our window and we were easily seated before all the Standby riff raff. :rotfl:

Starting the morning with your blood pressure about to burst before breakfast, is not the best start. But glad breakfast was good and your kids enjoyed the characters. Yep, we had a TERRIBLE experience in 2008 too and had sworn it off. But now with DS it is quickly making its way up as an option.
Yep... They've got it down to a science. Take a crappy restaurant. Put characters the kids want in it. The parents are held hostage.
:rotfl2: Still looks good on him, however next year, he may be rocking the Chris Farley look.
As long as he isn't living in a van down by the river.

DH's too! I felt awful, the ride was down our entire DHS day and we only usually devote one full day for DHS. We attempted to go back to DHS after dinner at Epcot one night, but because it's considered the slow season in January, the park closed early
They really don't make it easy. Especially with the FP+ Tiers.

That is the one thing that I really hate about FP+.

Doesn't it seem like such a waste? But it is a time filler so you made the best decision.
Yeah, that's what I had to keep telling myself... :rolleyes1

:rotfl::lmao: I always crack up at seeing grown men trying to sit Indian style on the floor! You guys look so uncomfortable trying to push your knees down :rotfl2:
Oh heck, I didn't even attempt that. I let the kids sit in front of my so I could at least stretch out a little bit.

:worship: YEEESS! :worship: Hopefully that kind of made up for your morning!
Chocolate and peanut butter always help make things better.

Is it mean that this made me feel better? I hate when people are so calm when everything is going down ... it makes me feel bad when I get annoyed. You're only human, and humans are allowed to get frustrated sometimes.
I get it. But no, I was getting pretty frustrated. There were some comments being made. It never was anything of note, it wasn't like we had a fight or anything... but I was definitely voicing my frustration.

Sometimes they have the larger sizes in the back, but not always (and sometimes it's hard to track down a CM to ask). I've had to track down CMs and ask a few times when I was looking for a large ... sometimes they have it, sometimes I have to settle for the medium.
Yeah, we asked in a few stores and the largest shirt I ever saw was an L. I could have probably done it, but I wanted to get an XL if I'm spending that much for a T-Shirt.

I'm sure that whole morning ordeal elicited some emotion, but I'm not sure that it was "sweet"! You told the story very well, I was right with you the whole way, and I probably would've blown a gasket.

Great Jake costume, it doesn't look too small in the pictures.

Yeah, I remember sitting on the floor of that Disney Jr. production, only at the time I think it was "Bear in the Big Blue House". That was our Christmas 2001 trip, when James was 2, so that was a highlight for him....and for the grandparents, to see him light up.

See?! I did make it through. Both.

All I can say is WOW. Which brings me to the point of doing a bit of hard thinking on my own upcoming trip with the parental units coming too. I think it calls for a "here's the schedule, stick to it, or we'll see ya later" kind of strategy. I too develop twitches and get testy when I have a lot of plans, even if they are plans to go slower IN THE PARK.

Anyway, the family photo is truly a keeper!

Even as an adult I really love TTwC. It's so well done and fun to watch the kids react.

Yeah, kids and their fickles tastes. Glad you didn't end up with a melt down in VN. EEK! Glad you enjoyed the pizza and have that as a kind of tradition you keep regularly. Some of those are great to have, even though I'm also a fan of trying at least a few new places every trip.

My blood pressure was going up with you waiting on the bus. I won't go again without a rock in roller coaster FP. Did you ever get to ride it?

I know exactly how frustrating that can be. We went with my parents once and my Dad just does not get the concept of early. I had really wanted to go to WPE for breakfast, and we barely made it there once they started serving lunch. I can just feel your frustration waiting for the parents for your reservation. I do have to say that I would never have recognized any of those characters if you hadn't pointed out who they were.

Sad that the wait for RnRC got so long so fast! But great that you got so many shows in and that your DS loved Indy! Too bad the cupcake was dry and not quite up to par. I think I tried one of those a couple years back and it was just way too sweet.

loving your family photo!! And that whole thing that morning with your MIL? The main reason I never travel with any of may family, especially my sister. She is late to everything and it drives me insane. Sorry you missed your favorite ride.

Hi Andy! Catching up again….

Bubby’s gone! Bubby’s gone!

That got my adrenaline going. That is what Willow calls our dog (his name is Oscar, his nickname is Bubba, his nick-nickname is Bubby). I can only begin to imagine the sleep-to-wake surge you must have had! I’m glad everything was okay.

Sounds like a great Future World morning. VERY cool that DS was so affected by Crush - love that!

Good for you for keeping your kids to the deal made. Consistency is so dang hard in parenting. It's so easy to give in. But it doesn’t send the right message. I mean, I know nothing and fail all the time, but I totally support that decision.

Oh, lord, kids and food. What in the world? It's always like that. One day, something is the best thing ever; the next day, it’s poison. I feel ya on the VN experience there!

Love the exiting PP pic. And, really, a night at the pool? Not bad at all! I hope that we will do some of those this summer. WDW is a lot of work - some of it should just be relaxing vacation.

Okay - stressful morning, but look at DS in his Jake get-up - toooooo cute!!!! I'm glad your H&V breakfast turned out pretty darn great. (This is the ONLY character meal that Willow doesn’t know exists - and I think the only one we haven’t done. When she was the right age for it, it was mostly Little Einsteins (I think) characters - she (and I) would have had no idea who they were, so we never went. Actually, she wasn't really watching TV when she would have been young enough for Little Einsteins now that I think about it. Based on the food reviews from those years, I'm glad we never went! Sounds like the food and characters have improved though.)

Holy cow! The RnRC line sounds insane. So sorry……

Ugh - the Disney Junior show. As you know, I successfully avoided that until this year. Luckily, I’m assuming that my child will have aged out of it very soon. I mean, it's not BAD at all, but at 45 years old, having to sit on the floor is just not a great experience for me!

Man, the day you guys are up early had to be the day your in-laws were behind. Seems like that little hiccup kinda put the rest of the day behind enough to miss some stuff.

I'm glad H&V was a good meal! I've heard great things about the characters there, but the food is seldom highlighted. I'm glad to hear the food (well at least the breakfast) is good!

Sorry RnR didn't work out; 100 minutes is a really long time so early in the morning. It's a favorite of ours too. I wonder if so many people do what you guys planned: get the FP+ for TSMM and wait stand by for RnR...?

I'm glad DS ended up liking Indiana Jones. I've always loved that show and I'll be very sad if they discontinue it.

Ya know, I've never eaten at Starring Rolls. I've heard great things, but it stinks that your cupcake was dry; you're having a rough day this day Andy! Hope it gets better. :thumbsup2

Looks like I've fallen behind here a bit.
Time to catch up.
(I did actually read the last chapter when it came out. Just hadn't found the time to reply.)

It was around 4:30 am when DD came running into our bedroom screaming.

Bubby’s gone! Bubby’s gone!

I had no idea who or what a Bubby was at first.
I thought it was a stuffed animal.
Then when I learned the truth, I'm surprised you didn't have a heart attack!

Nothing like a nice surge of adrenaline in the middle of the night when you’re planning to sleep in a bit.

You bet! And it's oh-so-easy to fall back asleep after that, right?

Hmmm.... Then again, they say there's nothing like Disney sleep... so... Did you?

DW and I both jumped out of bed and ran out to the front room. I checked the door and both security locks were still latched. I felt relieved at that point since it meant he couldn’t have left the room..

Phew!

We went back to bed and woke up at around 8:00.

All completely rested, right??? :duck:

I had it saved on my phone… but it must have been on the phone’s memory instead of the SD card. We’ll save that story for Disneyland:rolleyes1

Oh?

We brought some food with us for DD to eat, but after we already ordered and got all our food, she decided she wanted a milk, so I went back up to get that.

Of course. Parent's aren't supposed to eat warm food.
Or didn't you know that?

The Beverly dispenser was out of order.

Nooooooo!!!!!!

Oh, I’m so glad we made our detour through Club Cool. It was so worth it.

::yes::

It took a few minutes, but we finally peeled our shoes off the the sticky floor and walked out towards Soarin.

Um.... ick?

The lady sitting next to DW was nursing the baby. And um… wow, it was all out there.

Now before we get into any kind of debate about nursing, I don’t have a problem with it. DW nursed both of our kids, but she always covered up or found a more secluded location. This, on the other hand, was pretty much right out there in the open sitting on a bench in the exit of Soarin.

Okay, no debate.
But... No photos means it didn't happen!

:lmao:

Literally, 2 pictures in the aquarium… 1 of them was I don’t know what. That’s all we had from the whole day.

And ya know what? That's okay.
You can't always be so busy taking pictures that you miss the event your taking pictures of!

He took time to teach the kids all the various uses of the word "dude" and he encouraged them to use the word dude as much as they could throughout the day.

So all the parents appreciated that.

 Dude! That's awesome, dude!

Oh. Wait.

That was sarcasm right there, wasn't it?

Our kids never really watched Nemo much before that trip, but when DW let them pick out a Christmas ornament to buy, DS picked Crush.

Must've made you happy knowing he enjoyed it so much.

But honestly, none of the adults wanted to hang around in there again and we made a deal with the kids, so we were going to hold them to their end of the deal on principle.

Of course there’s no reasoning with a 2 year old, but how else are they going to learn?

I hear ya.
Parenting is like walking a tightrope.
"I could let it go (do NOT start singing!!) this one time. No big deal. But it's the principal of the thing!"
Which way will you go this time???

Our server came by to take our order, and we couldn’t even hear him. If you’ve never been to Via Napoli, it is a loud restaurant.

Huh. I've heard a lot of good things about Via Napoli, but I hadn't heard that.

When he got our food, DS was mad. He didn’t want a pizza with the red sauce on it. He doesn’t like red sauce.

He only likes it on every other slice of pizza he’s ever had… but whatever.

 Yup! That's a kid all right.

Seriously… I love our kids, but they can drive me nuts sometimes.

::yes::

I hear ya.
But good news! It doesn't get much better as they get older!

We never saw our server except for the few times he came to our table and we had to flag down another server to get our get him a few times. Once, because we had a pizza, but didn’t have plates, a second time because we needed drink refills, and then a third time to get our check.

My tip would've reflected that.
He (or she) would learn, eventually.

they ended up giving her her order, in addition to a large bag as an apology. Jackpot!

Nice! I loves me some caramel popcorn! popcorn::

But as someone who likes to hit the parks rope drop to park close and maximize every minute of Disney available to me…

There’s just something unsettling about laying in bed and hearing fireworks.

You don't want to quit. There are still things to do! Right?

We were all ready to go. I think it was 7:15 or so

Only 15 minutes behind schedule.
You guys are getting better!

FiL came to the door and said that MiL thought we were leaving at 8.

D'oh!

I just hoped our vehicle would still be there at the end of the day.

Then again. It's Disney. Would Disney tow your car?
Doesn't seem.... Disneyish.

Then DW took some pictures of the kids

Totally cute!

We were trying to wave and yell at them, but they didn’t hear us. They were on a mission.

Power walking the wrong direction.

 Of course they were!

Sounds like the bus driver might have needed some driver education.

Or at least some morning coffee.

I needed a drink.

:lmao:

I was trying to get the kids ready to move out of the restaurant when DW said she wanted to get another plate.
I developed a nervous tick.

Whadya mean 'developed'? Don't you mean 'increased'?

When we walked around the corner into the courtyard in front of RnRC, the display above the Standby line said 60 minutes…

and then changed to 100 minutes.

Nope.
Just. No.

My mood went from slightly grumpy, to “don’t even talk to me, look at me, or breathe the air in my general vicinity.”

Well, I'm with you on that.
Who wants to breathe used air? :confused3

DS was complaining. He didn’t want to see anymore shows. He wanted to ride Dumbo.

"Son, I'll take you on Dumbo when we get back home and the fair is in town. Okay?"

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake.

Oh, dear Lord.
Just added that to my Disney wish list.

Thanks for the updates Andy! :goodvibes

Getting caught up again. I can't believe the CM went into the bat broom to check for bands. I'm all for keeping the party for attendees only but that is too far.
It sound like you had a great day at Epcot. I think this is a great park to just stroll around in and relax. That family picture is great!
Just reading your morning at DHS is giving me anxiety. It's one thing to get behind plans at another park but DHS is hard to tour anyway but, even more so behind schedule. Your in laws experience with the bus is exactly why I feel it's necessary to shell out the extra money for a car. I am way too much of a control freak to allow a WDW bus decide when I will get somewhere.

We were concerned that DS might try to leave the room when we didn’t want him to. He was able to reach both of the security locks on our door,
Oh, yikes, I've never even thought about that possibility! Izzy just started opening closed doors on her own, but I doubt she could manage the locks like that yet. Glad that he was safe and sound, but what an awful scare to wake up to!

And our kids, who love popsicles, ate hardly any of them.
Of course. :headache: Isn't that always the way? (Same with your VN pizzas). Just tonight, Izzy asked for one of her favorite things (a fruit pouch), then proceeded to not take a sip of it after it was opened. We had a little chat about only asking for things you actually intend to eat.

I took a big drink of one of the cups and said they all needed to try this one.
Wait, what?! You actually took a big drink of Beverly? Or had another as a decoy? If it was Beverly, you were quite committed to your gag! ::yes::

Now before we get into any kind of debate about nursing, I don’t have a problem with it. DW nursed both of our kids, but she always covered up or found a more secluded location. This, on the other hand, was pretty much right out there in the open sitting on a bench in the exit of Soarin.
I totally get the discomfort and think you did exactly the right thing by looking at your phone and ignoring it. :thumbsup2 Personally, I nursed for 2 years and I think like 2 times were in public - hiding in a quiet room with blankets and a jacket. :rotfl: It's totally not my thing and I went to great lengths to not have to deal with the logistics of doing it in public (heck, I waited until Izzy was 14 months to go to WDW in part to avoid it). However, I have read a lot of stories about other peoples' experiences and I'm totally fine with others doing whatever they are comfortable doing or feel they need to do. When I have encountered situations along the lines of what you did (maybe not quite as extreme, though), I just tried to keep in mind that I don't know what their situation is and it might be their best option. I remember seeing stories from women online about how they try to use blankets, but their child pulls them down repeatedly and/or loses their mind, especially if it's hot and they are covered. And other variations on that. But, even in a situation like that, with all the nursing tops and such available now, I think most people could be quite a bit more discreet than the situation that you witnessed. :confused3

FiL is a history buff so he really loved this one. DD just wanted us to keep the fruit snacks coming, and DS fell asleep. So all in all, it was a successful show.
Sounds like a win for everybody! :rotfl2: You sure know how to find the attractions to please 3 generations at once. :thumbsup2

I will say though that the service was a little bit of a disappointment. We never saw our server except for the few times he came to our table and we had to flag down another server to get our get him a few times.
We had that happen once too (a few years ago) at Via Napoli. We only had small glasses of water to drink and it was scorching hot out (August) and getting a refill was mission impossible. It just didn't seem important to them. :confused3

By this time, it’s already 8:10. We’re 10 minutes late for our pre-RD ADR and the park opens in less than an hour. With the shows we wanted to see our plans are absolutely jam packed for the day. I was pacing, getting stressed and just starting to get downright ticked off.
:scared: Ack, so much stress! I have to admit that I probably would have gone in and said, "you snooze, you lose" to the in-laws. :rotfl: I just couldn't handle the whole day going bad so soon into it.

and then changed to 100 minutes.
:faint: That is crazy talk. I'm sorry you missed your favorite. :sad1:

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake.

I’ll eat that for lunch anytime.
Ditto that! :thumbsup2 I'd even take a dry one, if that's my only option.

Trying to catch up....as always!

The day in EPCOT sounds really nice. Except for the grumpy kids at dinner. Kids are just so frustrating the way they choose to like something one moment and hate it the next. But, at least you got your pizza!

I can't even imagine how scary it must've been for your DD to wake y'all up in the night screaming that DS was gone. Oh my!! Glad it was all ok!

Glad y'all were able to still make the H&V ADR. People being late for an ADR is one of my main fears for our upcoming Easter trip. My sister is always late. She will be late to her own funeral! I'm hoping we don't miss any of our ADRs because of it. I was happy to read that y'all had a good experience there. We had breakfast there in 2012 & thought it was ok but not a place we needed to return to. Well, we'll be having lunch there in April just to meet Doc & Sophia.

Sounds like it was definitely a busy day in DHS for y'all!

Or isn't auditioning to be a Chippendale dancer.
Holy Schnikes!

:rolleyes1

I'm sure that whole morning ordeal elicited some emotion, but I'm not sure that it was "sweet"! You told the story very well, I was right with you the whole way, and I probably would've blown a gasket.
Eh... just figured an Aerosmith song seemed like an appropriate chapter title. It was either Sweet Emotion or Cryin'. In hindsight, maybe I should have gone with Cryin'

Great Jake costume, it doesn't look too small in the pictures.
You should see him try to move in it.

Yeah, I remember sitting on the floor of that Disney Jr. production, only at the time I think it was "Bear in the Big Blue House". That was our Christmas 2001 trip, when James was 2, so that was a highlight for him....and for the grandparents, to see him light up.
That is the one bright thing. The kids love it, and it's great to see their reactions. But they'd darn well better love it for making us suffer through it!

See?! I did make it through. Both.
::yes::

Yeah, I should have put it on paper or something. I basically just told them what time we needed to leave every night. And aside from this one time, it worked. MiL and FiL were always ready before DW, except for this one time. She just confused our ADR time with our departure time. Simple misunderstanding.

Anyway, the family photo is truly a keeper!
Thanks! We liked it a lot.

Even as an adult I really love TTwC. It's so well done and fun to watch the kids react.
It definitely is.

Tradition... that sounds much better than gluttony. :rolleyes1

I know... I always enjoy trying to eat at some new places, but there are just so many that I already know and love that it is hard to stay away from them.

Caught up on your report.

"Bubby is missing" is a very scary story! As frightening as it was, I'm sure it was reassuring to know your daughter was on the case, being responsible for keeping track of her brother. I'm still not sure how you think someone is missing when they are RIGHT THERE (says the mom who panicked about the missing kid she was holding in line at Tiki Birds :rolleyes1)

Sounds like fun in Test Track.

Nicely played with the Beverly. Hopefully they don't do something to get back at you the next day!

I love your son's reaction to Turtle Talk!!!

"We survived Via Napoli"

That really, really is a great family photo!

*********************************************

YIKES!!! That is a frustrating start to your day at HS. What a series of unfortunate events

:sad2:

Glad you had a great and entertaining meal at H&V. The kids have adorable outfits. I have read many bad reviews in the past, but lately I'm hearing some very positive stuff.

Another possible Aerosmith title for your chapter "I don't want to miss a thing". It is so annoying when circumstances not of your making mess with your touring plans!

I'm glad to hear Indiana Jones was a hit.

:thumbsup2

My blood pressure was going up with you waiting on the bus. I won't go again without a rock in roller coaster FP. Did you ever get to ride it?
Well, thankfully, I wasn't actually waiting for the bus. But it was stressful enough just getting the updates.

You know, I feel that way about RnRC... but when it has to be either that or TSMM, we're going to pretty much get TSMM every time. Especially given the fact that it is really the only thing our kids ride in that park and they want to ride it as much as they can. The tier system is what I hate most about FP+.

:lmao: I totally understand. If I'd seen the character line up for that breakfast a few years ago, I'd have had no idea either.

Sad that the wait for RnRC got so long so fast! But great that you got so many shows in and that your DS loved Indy! Too bad the cupcake was dry and not quite up to par. I think I tried one of those a couple years back and it was just way too sweet.
I couldn't believe how quickly RnRC lined up. Even if the posted time was off, it was a pretty substantial line.

I really like those cupcakes. There's no such thing as too sweet! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2::rotfl:

loving your family photo!! And that whole thing that morning with your MIL? The main reason I never travel with any of may family, especially my sister. She is late to everything and it drives me insane. Sorry you missed your favorite ride.
I can't really be hard on her for being late. It wasn't just that she was habitually late or anything. It was just a misunderstanding. But it was a misunderstanding that completely screwed my plans up!

That got my adrenaline going. That is what Willow calls our dog (his name is Oscar, his nickname is Bubba, his nick-nickname is Bubby). I can only begin to imagine the sleep-to-wake surge you must have had! I’m glad everything was okay.
Yeah, it definitely got me out of bed fast. I think I got pretty far across the room before my feet ever hit the floor.

Sounds like a great Future World morning. VERY cool that DS was so affected by Crush - love that!
It was a nice morning. It was hard missing rope drop, but it all ended up working out very nicely.

I mean, I know nothing and fail all the time, but I totally support that decision.
I'm right there with you!!!

Yeah, it is hard to be consistent. And we're far from perfect.

Oh, lord, kids and food. What in the world? It's always like that. One day, something is the best thing ever; the next day, it’s poison. I feel ya on the VN experience there!
Oh yeah... it seems to be a daily struggle. Right now though, DD is in this phase where all she wants to eat is mac & cheese, hot dogs and ketchup.

Love the exiting PP pic. And, really, a night at the pool? Not bad at all! I hope that we will do some of those this summer. WDW is a lot of work - some of it should just be relaxing vacation.
Yeah, it was nice to relax a little bit. I guess. Even though it kills me...

Okay - stressful morning, but look at DS in his Jake get-up - toooooo cute!!!! I'm glad your H&V breakfast turned out pretty darn great. (This is the ONLY character meal that Willow doesn’t know exists - and I think the only one we haven’t done. Based on the food reviews from those years, I'm glad we never went! Sounds like the food and characters have improved though.)
Yeah, it really was a pretty good experience. Even though we were using dining credits, it would have been our cheapest table service meal, had we paid out of pocket. I have to say the characters were great, the CM handlers who sang the songs and danced with the characters and kids were great too. A pretty good deal as far as character meals go, IMO.

Holy cow! The RnRC line sounds insane. So sorry……
It was. I can't see how it could have possibly been as long as the posted wait. But it was definitely long enough that we had to skip it unless we wanted to really screw up our plans.

Ugh - the Disney Junior show. As you know, I successfully avoided that until this year. Luckily, I’m assuming that my child will have aged out of it very soon. I mean, it's not BAD at all, but at 45 years old, having to sit on the floor is just not a great experience for me!
No... it isn't a bad show at all. But the floor thing.... Yuck!

Man, the day you guys are up early had to be the day your in-laws were behind. Seems like that little hiccup kinda put the rest of the day behind enough to miss some stuff.
::yes::

I'm glad H&V was a good meal! I've heard great things about the characters there, but the food is seldom highlighted. I'm glad to hear the food (well at least the breakfast) is good!
Well, it was breakfast. It was about what you'd expect from any Disney World breakfast buffet. But it was much better than I'd expected from our past experience there.

But the characters were the highlight.

Sorry RnR didn't work out; 100 minutes is a really long time so early in the morning. It's a favorite of ours too. I wonder if so many people do what you guys planned: get the FP+ for TSMM and wait stand by for RnR...?
I think the tier system pretty much dictates that it be done this way. Everybody knows how fast the standby line builds for TSMM, so it only makes sense to use your FP+ there and run to RnRC. I don't think there's any way the line was actually that long through. It was still very long.

I'm glad DS ended up liking Indiana Jones. I've always loved that show and I'll be very sad if they discontinue it.
I love that show. But I think I'd be ok losing it, depending what they do going forward.

Ya know, I've never eaten at Starring Rolls. I've heard great things, but it stinks that your cupcake was dry; you're having a rough day this day Andy! Hope it gets better. :thumbsup2
It wasn't a bad cupcake. I'd take a dry chocolate peanut butter cupcake anytime. It just seemed a bit off from normal.
