Somebody Help Me PLEASE!!!!

Ok, first of all, don't hate me!!!!!
BUT,
I am just about done with my christmas shopping. All I have left is DH. So where's the problem with this, you ask?

I CAN'T STOP BUYING!!!!!!

everytime i go out and find something else to buy for someone else. someone please help me stop buying. i just have one other thing for ds also. we want to buy him a new bike. but i'm waiting until dec 1st because i have 2 toysrus cards that are not good until dec 1st. but really, i can't stop. everytime i come home my dh says "are you done YET?" "YUP" is my reply and then there i go with the "oh ds would just love that". OMG i need to go to christmas shopping anonymous. CSA.
anyone what to join me???

I know what you mean! I just lack DH and then some gift cards that I always pick up right before Christmas. But, every time I look through the stores, I think, "Oh, we could get that for that person." Then, DH says, "No, we already bought them whatever."

I haven't bought the stuff I've found--because DH has been there--but I do understand!! I just love Christmas shopping!! Whether I buy or not, I just love seeing the decorations in the malls--how sad is that??

Keep a list of what you have bought in your purse and decide what you can take back if you buy the gift. Normally just the thought of having to return a gift I already bought keeps me from buying too much.

I was going to suggest the same as Rebecca. Go though what you have and can return, and return some stuff.

2nd...when you go to a "problem" store, take only the cash you need to cover what you actually need to buy.

3rd. Maybe make a cute post-it of something you are saving for or want, and stick it on your CC. Every time you go to use it, you can ask yourself, "Do I really want this, or THIS?"

If I see something that would be perfect for someone on my gift giving list, I buy it right then too. You may not have that opportunity again. Maybe you can put some of the gifts aside for his birthday?

See this is why I can't shop early!!!! I will do my fair share of this in the month and a half left. Lists are good to see what you can return and the cash system. We are going to try the cash system and see how that goes. DH and I are both suckers for Christmas.
