Someone emailed me links to these videos about a group of young people using communication devices to visit an 'unnamed famous theme park.'

Even though it was un-named, I quickly figured out that their trip was to Disney's California Adventure. I thought I would post it here, since visitors who are wondering how to incorporate a communication device into a visit to any Disney park might find the information helpful.

Video part 1:

Video part 2:

The device they were using is called the Tango and the website for the device is www.blink-twice.com

NOTE: At the end of video number 2, there is a link for more information. That link did not work. If you would like more information about this trip - check out this link instead:
www.taskca.org.
Once you get to the home page, look for the aqua blue area titled ::News::
and click on the "Current Flyer" link.

This link may take you directly there - I tried it and it worked for me. I don't know how long this issue will be their 'current' flyer and the link may not work when there is a new flyer.

The thing that was amazing to me in reading the flyer was these participants had very little experience with the Tango before the outing.
And watch how well they did!:goodvibes

Wow those videos are awesome and that device is awesome. Thanks for sharing. Nice to see DCA again. OMG I missed the part where the dude used the Tango to order lunch.

Hugs and chocolates for you Sue.
Merry Christmas

Thanks for the hugs and chocolates.

It was easy to miss the guy ordering lunch - it's near the beginning of the second video, but it's hard to hear the voice from the device.

This is a touching story I found while looking at the Tango videos. It is about a bodybuilder who has CP.

That one is the bulkier AAC but the Tango seems more like a pec board combine with one of them Iphones or whatever like ipods, you know the electronic thing people want and play with, lol..

another touching video.

I was born is the very dark ages of medicine, the 1950's so I remember the past when there were no AAC available. I am the fat lady setting on doctors hitting them with a rolled up newspaper, black friday edition of course. I grew up in them dark ages so I am wowed by the new technology that is coming out. SEE, I knew there was a way.

I did not know the Tango talked because of the surrounding noise apparently. Sending you some turkey stew, lots of vitamin C, and the all around best medicine, chocolates. That or one of them hugger kids I read about. Hugs and chocolates.
