Hi..I have a few questions about the dining at Disney..
We are planning to eat our character meal at the Crystal Palace when we visit, I was wondering can you make the reservations for priority seating more than 90 days in advance?? Or it that the earliest?

What would be the best time for lunch at Crystal Palace?

Do they have seperate lines for the people with priority seating??

Also I saw someone had mentioned that they saw a menu for Crystal Palace and it was cold cuts for lunch, is this true?? Cold sandwiches??? YUK. I sure don't want to pay big bucks for a sub....???

So if we do a lunch there, do they allow you to bring snacks in your backpack into the MK?? I saw one place where it said to bring snacks to cut down on cost of eating snacks there and then saw one other place where it said it is not allowed??

This is our first time to Disney, so thanks for all the help!

I will try to answer some of your questions. I have had a late lunch at Crystal Pal and it was very good they had both hot and cold food and to me was just like dinner. I also did a late bkfst once and they were putting out lunch options and it was ok to take it was well as bkfst food. There is a window to the side of the enterence where you check in however it is not just for people with adv reservatons. I have also taken snack's into the park with me we freeze bottles of water and have taken in juice boxes as well along with small bags of chips or gold fish.

As long as you are at a Disney resort you can make all your reservations (for a maximum of ten days) 90 days prior to your arrival. Effectively this means you only have to make one call, so if you are staying seven days you can make ones for the last day effectively 97 days from that day.

They seat people from 11:30 until 3:00. They start dinner at 4:00. They will not throw you out. If you are at the last seating you might possibly be able to eat some of the dinner foods.

No, they do not. There is one line for check-in. If you have a PS (now ADR) you will have priority in being seated over people who are walk-ups.

Also I saw someone had mentioned that they saw a menu for Crystal Palace and it was cold cuts for lunch, is this true?? Cold sandwiches??? YUK. I sure don't want to pay big bucks for a sub....???
Here is the menu for lunch from a couple of months ago. Note there is a lot besides sandwiches.

You are allowed to bring backpacks and even small, soft-sided, coolers into MK. However, no alcoholic beverages.

The biggest thing that you will get out of the trip is an idea of what you want to do on your next trip. Don't even consider trying to do "everything" on the first trip, it is not possible. Have fun!

Thanks! Cheshire: So as for the reservations, we actually will not be staying on disney property for our resort, so does that mean I can not make my reservations early?? Maybe I was reading it wrong..
Thanks, Candy

That's right... if you are not staying in a Disney Resort, you can call exactly 90 days from the date you want to dine to make you Advance Dining Reservation (new name for Priority Seatings).
