Here are some photos I took on our recent trip to the southern end of 'the farm' .
This time we stayed at the Yacth Club...we loved the location! The Hotel was very nice..and the weather even better!
As the morning light breaks thur the last of the darkness of the night...we admired the view from our balcony
To our left we could see the Effiel Tower...
So 'goofus' had arranged to have these flowers in our room for Mrs. G...Stargazers were the flower of choice at our wedding...also notice the really neat chocolate the conceirge left us..it had an image of the Hotel on it made on white chocolate
True to form...it didn't survive the first night with Mrs. G's 'affection' for chocolates!
After Illuminations one night..we strolled out to the end of the 'lighthouse' peir....here's a view of the Yacth Club from there...with the temp's about 80 at 10pm...it was very pleasant!
And the views of the Boardwalk were great
One "feature" of the room sort of surprized me (even thou I guess it shouldn't have)...the phone in the bathroom had a dataport on it!
LOL!! It's my opinion that if someone can't utilitize this facility without having an internet connection...they have problems that can't be solved by a visit to WDW!
Here's a shot looking towards the front door of the hotel
A freindship launch approaches..with the Boardwalk in the distance
The yacth club's marina...under the red & white canopy..resides The Breathless..which recently under went a re-hab....a beautiful craft indeed!
Here's the walkway leading to the Beach Club, and the stormalong bay pool..which is amazing!
A view of the Atlantic Dance Club, Swan and Dolphin as framed by the white sand beaches near the Beach Club
Is this FLORIDA or what! Love those palm trees!
Starting down the trail to Epcot...I stumbled across this view of the Boardwalk & Swan
The Lighthouse served not only as the hotel's icon...but a welcomed beacon to returning guests
The start of another beautiful day
I hope ya liked these...I try to post some other photos a little later!
