Bumping
Wow, we were just talking about this exact thing in my Critical Thinking Class yesterday. Anyway, the menus look much better than what I have been expecting. There are choices on each one that my DS who has some minor sensory issues will enjoy. Thanks for posting those.Starr W. said:From a friend in the ad business. If you are doing work for McDonalds, they send a "food stylist" from HQ to work with the local one to make sure the food meets their standard in appearance.
Always wondered about Wendy's the burger's look so tall on tv and when you order one they always look like they have been squashed.

Laura said:Someone here posted a pic of the grilled chicken that's on other menus, and it looked much better in their photo than on the menu. They also said it looked much better in person, too.
Well-said.UConnJack said:Just goes to show you, some people are happier complaining than just being happy.
UConnJack said:You know, there must be at least 25 threads with PAGES of compliants about the kid's menu (where's the chicken nuggets!??!?), most from people who hadn't set foot on property yet. Now, however, the menu's are being refined and the truth about them is coming out from people who actually have seen them, and they aren't looking too bad. Maybe Disney always planned on expanding them, maybe they were waiting for input, who knows. But funny how there is only this one thread talking about the improvements versus the many still bashing it. Just goes to show you, some people are happier complaining than just being happy.
Back in the day, we had four food groups. Then came the food pyramid with six groups. That was revamped into the "new" food pyramid. The new food pyramid has 5 groups- grains, vegetables, fruits, milk, meat and beans. Exercise and limits on fat, sugars, and salt are also a part of the "new" pyramid.Nienor said:Can I ask a dumb question?
I noticed in small print on the menus (contains one item from each of the 5 food groups) Since when are there five food groups? I remember being taught about the 4 food groups.![]()

With a test, you try different things to see what works best, and then you go with the winners, or backtrack completely if none of the things you tried worked out. With the changes as of December 3, it seems that the test is over, and they're deploying what worked best in the test throughout the park.
