We are a family of 6 and travelling to Orlando with 2 other families, rented a large house. Our family has 3 older children so we will be visiting Universal. We decided to spend 2 nights onsite. I know the rooms only sleep 5 so I booked the room for 5, so we could all get the express pass. I really don't care to cram into one room so I will sleep at the house with my little one while DH and the teens stay in the room. If we want to hang out during the day, visit the pool, etc is that ok, even though there would be 6 of us?

You need to let them know at the front desk but it shouldn't be an issue. Just tell them you are having 1 guest.
