Some Halloween Fun -- What's Your Favorite Candy?

Well, I love chocolate mostly!

1. Rolos (had some two days ago!) and almost any other caramel/milk choc. combo
2. Twix
3. Reeses peanut butter cups
4. Pretty much anything with caramel, milk chocolate and nuts!:cloud9:

1. Snickers Bars
2. Reeses Peanut Butter Cups

There are those in the office who know the way to my heart and to get things thru my desk faster is a bag Lindt Truffles.

I love Lindt's White Chocolate Truffles

When I've had a really crappy day at work or things just aren't going

right....somehow a Lindt's White Chocolate just appears...pixiedust:

and Life is good again :) :lovestruc

Just had to add my absolute favorite just chocolate bar is that Stratos Bar they sell in Norway in Epcot. If you like milk chocolate this is heaven. They fluff it with air and it melts in your mouth. OMG good. I usually bring a few dozen home with me.

1. Milky Way
2. Hershey's Kisses
3. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups

Oh, I am so craving some chocolate right now!! :lovestruc

I like the peanut butter things that are wrapped in orange and black paper. I think they are called peanut butter kisses. I am the only one in my family (or possibly the entire state of Minnesota) that likes them.

I love those too!!! Everyone else I know hates them. I also like the Circus Peanuts (marshmallow candy).

Dark Chocolate Lindt Truffles - the darker the better

Godiva Chocolate Covered Cherries

York Peppermint Patties

Butterfingers

in the duty free here, they sell every possible kind of lindt chocolate ...
stuff you never see in the states....

and when you fly out of the airport here, you can buy in the duty free and store your purchases with them for pickup when you return....
i never do this...
but my mom, who flies back and forth every other month, does...(she's here for a month, then in the states for a month, then back here, etc etc)..
she has her grandkids to think of after all.....(not to mention her chocoholic daughter)...

so when she's flying back to the states, she shops in the duty free here and buys stacks and stacks of lindt chocolate and has them hold it for her return....
she's insane..
i flew with her this past May and watched her in action....

of course i'd much rather have snickers or peanut M&Ms, but i bite the bullet and 'settle' for the lindt... ;)

Here are some blasts from the past I wish were still around....
1. Chunky...the one without raisins.
2. Chick-O-Stix
3. Skor (or Heath, but I liked Skor better)

I know they have Chick-O-Stix at Fred Meyer stores here, which is owned by Kroger...so maybe they have them too. :confused3

I forgot Peppermint Patties and Junior Mints..love those. (It's chocolate, it's mint..it's delicious! It's very refreshing!)

For you choclaholics, I have to also reccomend the Cadbury Roses. They don't sell these at the UK pavillion, but sometimes you can find them in the International Isle at your grocery store and you can certainly buy them online, It's an assortment of chocolate candies. (Mars tried something similar called Celelbrations a while back) There is one piece I like in particular which is a chocolate caramel..sooo yummy! You Brits are so lucky to have these at the ready. I was turned onto them when my company was doing a project for our UK affiliate and they sent us some as a thank you.

And I have to add a note of praise for Nutella. I know it's not candy but it is heaven in a jar! I can't buy it because I will eat a whole jar of it with a spoon!

100 Grand is my favorite. What could be better than rice krispies, caramel and chocolate?!?!? I was sooooooo excited when I got a few in my MNSSHP candy bag. :yay: :yay: :yay:

:sad1: We don't have any Kroger or Fred Meyers here.
Actually they can be found at some gas stations....I am pretty sure we found a bag of little ones at Halloween last yr at Wal Mart too, but I haven't bought my candy yet, so I am hopeful...
Of all things, I got one in my FE on my cruise last month (and hadn't spoken of my obsession)...i don't know who did it but they are my hero!:rotfl2:

Gotta be Twizzlers hubby rolled his eyes when I asked the cast member at Trick or Treat station if I could sneek the mini packets.

:lovestruc I love chocolate and pb/chocolate nut combinations----peanut M&Ms, Reese

I got more M&Ms from one station when I told NC Beast that was going to steal some of his. The cm at that station dug up a heaping handful of M&Ms. :woohoo: I got over twice as much candy as NC Beast (after 9 nights and 11 hour car ride...down to 1 bag of Halloween party candy/NC B. has 4 lollipops from his 1 and only 3/4 bagful.

Hershey's Special Dark bar
Peanut M&M's
Milky Way Midnight (dark)
Peanut Butter cups (even better if frozen)
Hershey's kisses
the Hershey's versions of M&M's (can't remember the name)
Butterfinger

is that enough? :rotfl2:

Ok...So we've started our trick-or-treat here in Central Indiana.

DD - 8 Anna is ready to go get some loot! And I'm ready to go pass it out.

This costume will be recycled on the Podcast Cruise in May.
