Reeses peanut butter cups!!!- and their commercials right now are so funny.

But I bought some Raisinettes this year to add a little variety to our candy bucket and my husband said that our house is going to get egged- :rotfl:
Haha- kids like Rasinettes, right?

Mmmmmm candy :cloud9:

M&Ms!! Plain, peanut or peanut butter any way they come they are too good!!:cool1:

I love Take 5 bars....
Seonds are Twix and Reese's pb cups
then anything chocolate...
I love and hate Halloween... it's such a fun holiday but soooo much temptations when the 3 kids bring their bags home! I am trying to be so good, but they all taste so darn good!!!

I'm a chocolate hound, basically. I can shun most of the non-chocolate stuff unless I'm hard up for a sugar high. ;)

However, my favorite bite sized candy isn't usually given out at Halloween, I don't believe. That would be Dove Promises, milk or dark. It's the silkiest chocolate ever.

I've loved Dove chocolate for many years, and perhaps others from Chicago have remembered Dove here before they sold their business in the mid 1980's.
My dad was a salesman, and whenever he was at a customer near the Dove plant in the late 1970's/early 1980's, he would bring us back their original double hand-dipped ice cream bars. They were much larger than the ones made commercially now, and the ice cream flavors available were vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.

Of course I loved the double chocolate, but the chocolate over the strawberry...well...it was like having a frozen chocolate-covered strawberry. It was awesome, and I miss the original treats. The chocolate coating still tastes the same, though. Yum.

Ok Lisa...<I hope you have your flame suit on> why did you start this thread? I've just gained 4 pounds reading through it!

Actually, it's very fun. I'm changing the Halloween treats we are handing out this Friday night from popcorn balls to chocolate candy because of this thread. :upsidedow

Another one of those "Does this thread make me look fat?" posts, eh?

So much of this candy has been taboo for me for the last several months that I guess if I can't eat it, then I'll read about it instead!

I'm actually giving out Kudos bars to our neighborhood kids...not quite candy, but sort of. I did the same thing last year and I was surprised how many kids told me how much they liked them.

I. Like. It. All.

If I had to pick a favorite it would be, mmmm, I can't do it. It's like saying which of my children is my favorite!

Decadent chocolate, Ghiradelli Caramels.

Rich chocolate, Dove.

Everyday chocolate, Hershey.

Butterfinger. Good. Reeces. Good. Snickers. Good. KitKat. Good. Sixlets. Good. Buttons. Good. Wachamacalit. Good. It's all good.

I keep buying bags of candy and hiding them all over the house - my whole family is a bunch of sugar freaks. The minute they know candy is in the house it is gone. I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to find all the bags I've hidden around the house on Halloween.

Almond Joy! Luckily, my DD and DH hates coconut, so they're mine all mine...

Mwah ha ha ha ha!! :maleficen

These sound heavenly!!! :cloud9:

What a wonderful memory that must be. :goodvibes

My very favorite has to be just plain old M&M's. Although, I really like the dark chocolate ones, too.

I also love to MIX candy corn and peanuts together in a bowl. Yum! They taste just like a Payday candy bar...although I don't think I've actually ever eaten a Payday bar.:rotfl:

I like the peanut butter things that are wrapped in orange and black paper. I think they are called peanut butter kisses. I am the only one in my family (or possibly the entire state of Minnesota) that likes them.

chocolate chocolate chocolate....

anything with chocolate in it......

but especially snickers, peanut M&Ms, reeses peanut butter cups, those little hersheys miniatures (mr goodbar, krackel), etc etc etc etc etc etc etc...

number 1?
