Some cool new stuff at UK disneystore

I just thought I'd share some cool little things that are new in the Disney store.

First up is this adorable train set. This would be great for kids or putting under the Christmas tree I think.

I want that train set so badly... pity I have no children, and there's no way DH would let me spend £110 on a train set for myself!!

Yes, it moved to various stores within the shopping centre before closing down altogether.

Mind you it hadn't been the same for years. When it first opened it had an adult clothing section and housewares. By the time it closed it was just a kids' shop.

Thats exactly the same as the one in Birmingham. Its just toys now-a-days, no adult clothes at all. Only thing I'm ever tempted to buy is mugs and there are only so many mugs a girl needs.

My nearest store is in Oxford Street in London but even that is a disappointment. I wish I could take the All Star Movies' gift shop and put it in England somewhere. (Mind you I would be broke if I could get to it easily!)

Never mind kids....I will have one for myself under the tree! I love it, it looks great!

is it just me or are the disney stores few and far between now? My nearest one used to be Reading but that closed last year i think! Now i have to go to uxbridge or oxford street!

Yes the one in Reading has closed

I live in Birmingham now and we do have a Disney store but its rubbish to visit as an Adult. Its purely toys and children clothes now. I miss the days of the awesome stationary and home ware.

They have good stuff online but they charge for postage under £50.
