We're doing a family trip to DLR in February (yay!), and I was ecstatic to see some amazing fares today (cyber monday related). If you've been looking for airfare, you might want to check it out.

Saw good rates on United and Virgin America, but the BEST on Alaska. One way, Seattle to John Wayne Airport, for $40 pre-tax/fee. Fainting. :)

So if you're in the market for airfare right now, I recommend looking today.

I saw those Alaska Airlines fares this morning, Molly. Amazing price! Soooo tempting, but I just couldn't do it since we are leaving for our holiday trip tomorrow.

I wish we lived in that area and could partake of those great deals. Hope many of you can put them to good use!!!

Oh MOlly! You know I am dying to go. Thinking, if I just took Nathan (well Andrew wants Iphones and drivers ed and band trips to paris, etc) then it would only be...and he doesn't eat much, and so on and so forth goes the disney math....

I have not booked because we are going to Disney World in August and I must stay focused on saving for that trip. Dang it!

Oh man! I want to book "just because"! The weather in CA would be better than here in February. Heck I'll even sleep on the beach and not eat much. :lmao:

Oh man! We're going on Saturday, and I already want to book another trip for February! :D $40 is INSANE! We paid $67 each way for our trip, and I thought THAT was a great deal!

Hahaha, I'm already 4 months pregnant so a spring trip is definitely not happening, but those prices are killing me!

Just WOW! I checked out the fare (opposite departure/return cities) and it is only $131 r/t pp. This beats the $160 r/t that I paid this summer to fly from SNA to SEA for a cruise.

WOW that is awesome!! We're in NW OR so we always fly in and out of PDX but I'd be HAPPY to make the three hour drive up to Seattle to get in on that great airfare!

We are wanting to go back in May for DD's 1st birthday. I'm hoping we can find some good airfare deals. Thus far, all I have found is about $200 per ticket on JetBlue, flying into Long Beach! :sad2:

We are also going down in February. We had to rearrange dates a bit, but it was doable. Those prices were crazy. We are flying into Long Beach as the return flight from SNA was going to have a layover.

I know the site was getting hit hard yesterday morning as every step in the booking would time/error out. Finally made it through with good seat assignments to boot.

Prices still seem to be good!

Oh, as you know, welcome to my last two years! Painful. (if at all possible, I recommend a layover for a couple days in Anaheim on your way home from Orlando...if you're anything like me, and I think you are, as much as you'll enjoy WDW you'll want the familiar DLR almost even more than before)

It REALLY is insane. Not sure what got into their heads!

Glad to see it takes someone else 3 hours to make that drive. :) So many of our friends do it in FAR less time (naughty people). We've considered going out of Portland to get in on the cheaper parking at the airport, LOL.

Oh it was SO bad. I sent an email bragging about the fare to DH, and then thought the fates had conspired against me and I was going to lose the rate, because it actually timed out on the PAYMENT page! That was scary. Worse, it was so busy their email system seems to have gone wonky, because even though I only show ONE reservation in the account, I never got a proper confirmation email, and I got TWO "sign up for trip alerts" emails. Yikes!

It did the same thing for me. I was half expecting it to but that is the one screen I didn't want it to error out on. I also didn't receive a confirmation email for several hours after booking so I made sure to print out a hard and soft copy of the receipt/itinerary.

I bought our flight tickets last week for our trip in 2 weeks and I called Alaska Airlines yesterday and they gave me over $300 credit on future flight. :cool1:

I love how easy Alaska makes it!

In case someone needs to do this in the future but doesn't want to call, they even have an online form!!

Funny, I do not anticipate needing to use that form for the airfare I got, LOL.

Thank you so much for posting this! I called yesterday and she told me my flight was more but online it showed less and with this link it automatically gave me back $56 to use towards another trip. With those prices I wanted to take our kids but just my husband and I are going on the 8th for a 4 day trip and I'm so excited to experience Disney with no kids!

I'm so glad it helped you! I keep it bookmarked, because it can be a chore to re-find the page.

Remember, the credit does expire, so keep track of it!

Hello MukilteoSailor! I know another Mukilteo family that sails, and I know they aren't going to DL in February:) Also from Mukilteo, but don't sail, and not going to DL in February. But my good friend is for her 3rd trip this year and she has not ever boughten an annual pass. What the hey??? I have told her the error of her ways! Have fun!

I just asked my husband if I could take our littlest guy who will be 5 at the end of February while the rates are still $40 each way and apply my $56. That would make a cheap trip and he's a momma's boy and can't wait to ride Indy, he was too short last time. It's either him or my oldest DD is turning 13 this year. Who would you take?? We have 8 kids, the oldest is 13 and the youngest is 5 and we just did a 2 week Disneyworld trip in Oct.

It sounds like a choice that will be very difficult!

I decided the youngest and that morning will surprise him and say, "Were going to Disneyland!!" Now if I can just keep it a secret. It will be so odd to just have one child but I'm so excited. Thanks again for posting! I saw the lower fare and was a little bummed to miss out on it, but not now.
