Hi there. I was trying to order this great offer from the uk but its not letting me do it. Does anyone know how i can get around this or is it just for US residents only? :confused3

Many thanks for any info

Doris(BiGGys wife)
Amity mentioned that this code is for federal employees. I assume that is why tickets cannot be ordered from outside the US. (Or at least w/ a zip code unlike ours here.) Most people outside the US aren't US Federal Employees. ::MickeyMo

Amity, thanks for sharing the information here. You've done many people a great service! :thumbsup2 And don't worry about others spending the savings in UO/IOA... I'm sure they'll all find ways to eat/spend it!! popcorn::

OK, as promised I am back to report the info on these tickets.
When you print out the actual tickets there is a note "valid any day in 2006" or something like that so the ticket will expire this year.
BUT, there is no note on having to use the days consecutively.
So if you buy the tickets for 2 days then you can use 1 day today and another day anytime before the end of the year.

All this information of course was given to me by the guest relations CMs (or whatever they are called at US/IOA)... :)

Hope this helps!

Oh and if you print out your own tickets, they are your tickets. No need to exchange them or anything. They will scan the barcode on the paper and let you in with it.
I thought I had to exchange mine when I got there... my bad.
So be careful with them.

Just to let you know, all is fine with our tickets!! I think an error on the Visa bill and in no way was it a problem with Ticketmaster. All is OK now and we are just waiting to board that plane in 20 days!! Yippee!! :thumbsup2

This is soooo cool! Thanks for posting.

Ok, here's a question I haven't seen asked. Once you use a two-day ticket the first day, does it have to be the same person using it the second day?

Husband and I are coming to Florida for one day in October and would like to have us use one day. Then I'm coming back in November and wonder if my friend could use the second day of hubby's ticket?

Thanks!

Did the guest services folks at Universal actually scan your ticket and check to be sure they expire? Or did they just look at the ticket and say that?

Amity3 said these tickets don't expire and that's what Universal told me over the phone as well. I've been on the verge of ordering them for our January trip for weeks now because it's a huge savings, but I haven't for fear they wouldn't work in January with the "2006" note on them -- your response makes me think I shouldn't buy them???

they've got fingerprint scanners at the turnstiles that make ticket sharing obsolete.

The tickets have an expiration written on the ticket as good until 2006. It seems to be common with Ticketmaster tickets. If you aren't using them before 2006, I wouldn't recommend buying them as the expiration date may be spotted at the gate. In that case, you will be sent to Guest Services. If the ticket hasn't been used, in most cases, they will be able to print you a usuable ticket. When the ticket is scanned it doesn't show an expiration date though.

I went on the US/IOA site today and they have new tix posted.

http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html

$85.00 2 park for 7 consecutive days. I don't see any expiration date. Maybe I've missed something, because this looks like a great deal!

However, I'd still like to see the 2/park 2/day free kids tix. That was more agreeable to our itinerary. Don't plan on being at US/IOA more than two days.

AAA still had this the last time I checked. You could check with them.

(Edited to add: I just checked, and they still have them. I put additional info on despina's post. You might look at it. Good luck!)

for posting the link. You are an angel who just shared a blessing. You saved me almost $100. I also sent the link to our friend who's going on vacation with us. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Thank you so much that saved our family over $70! :thumbsup2 Just wish Disney would have something like that!

I have a question regarding a ticket purchase I made for Universal Islands of Adventure tickets -- I purchased these tickets back in March 2002, a 2-day pass. I will be back in Orlando in October.

My question is this: how can I tell if the ticket still contains valid admittance? The card is not punched, it has a black barcode strip on the back side, with a 7-digit number under the barcode. Also, the ticket is stamped on back with:

2 Day 2 Park Adult.

Is there a website that exists (or an alternate way) to verify if this ticket is still valid?

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks! :wave2:

I think I would call the Customer Service folk to check on that.
I bought the 2 day-2 park tickets about 3 weeks ago and they were $99 for 5 days use. When I saw the new deal I called up and after speaking to 3 different folk they credited my account with the difference and changed it to 7 days use.

I used the TicketMaster site and it still shows a price of $67.10 for a 2 day/ 2 park pass. Does this allow us to move between the parks during the 2 days or does anyone know if it is one day per park with no moving in between? We are staying at the RPH and want to be able to move around. It is over Thanksgiving so we want it to be as nice as possible.

you can park hop.

Are the HHN tickets like the Stay & Scream ticket or can they be used just for the nighttime event?
