depends on your mindset. I'm a loner so I'm so used to being alone, so it's fun to me. If you can, see it as an opportunity to be WITH yourself instead of by yourself. Everyone should have alone time(many hours to days).
I have no problem being alone either, and I love my solo trips. But--they are not for everyone--I truly believe this. Some people may be lonely, miss their family, etc.
I savor every second of the time I have to myself to go off and do what I want, or to just be alone with my thoughts while relaxing.
