Wow!! What a wonderful looking meal! And it sounds perfect. What more can you ask for than good food, good service and a beautiful location with extras besides!

I really enjoy the presentation of the dishes at the fancier restaurants. We've talked about going there a couple of times but haven't made it there yet. Great review and pics. Thanks for sharing

I am so glad that I have an ADR for Narcoosee's after seeing all those yummy pictures.. When did you ask your server whether the after dinner coffee/tea will be part of the DDP? A cup of java with dessert, soooo gooood!!!

well, when she was giving us the dessert menu, she asked if we wanted coffee, and i asked if it was included, and she said, yeah, even cappucino and espresso. so i was all over that!

Hey Marsh, I believe our family was at Crystal Palace at the same time as you - 5/7 lunch @ 11:30. We were sitting directly across from you at the outside waiting area. I had my 2 boys with me and my dh. I believe we sat near each other in the restaurant too because I distinctly remember the servers taking pictures of you with the characters. You also had a green pin on that with your username on it. I just think it's pretty cool to come across your review.

narcoossees report was great! i've decided to order the surf and turf!! the view is gorgeous!! after we have dinner, i would like to sit and have some coffee and enjoy the view.

Just found this thread and I'm loving the reviews so far. I just did CP dinner so I'm excited to see how CP breakfast was because we might do this in Dec. while on the deluxe plan.....

Love the reviews Narcosses is definately on my list! Maybe with the family but if not when I go solo!! Question DSIL asked if you canhave the lobster whole he likes ravishing lobster and didn't like it cut for him!!

um, not sure, it comes cracked like that, don't know if you could ask for it not cracked open. guess it couldn't hurt to try!

Crystal Palace, breakfast, Fri 05.02.08

After an early morning romp through the MK, I arrived at Crystal Palace at around 10:15am for my 10:20am ADR. I was seated almost right away, and was greeted to a nice little celebration on my table.

After the waiter took my order for coffee, I was told to make my way through the buffet, because the characters wouldn't be around for a while. I was on a mission for puffed french toast! I'd heard it was great, and I also knew to look for it at the kids' area, thanks to the DIS!

Here's my first plate

Puffed french toast and fruit. Good stuff! That puffed french toast was yummy as expected.

Then I made another trip up

Mickey waffle, breakfast lasagna, and potatoes. Mickey waffle, good as usual, breakfast lasagna was delish! Potatoes were just okay. Just had a bite. But that breakfast lasagna, yum! Bready, fruity, pudding-y goodness!

Next, I had a custom-made egg white omelet made, with veggies.

I was very excited that they had the option of just egg whites, as that's how I prefer my omelets. It was okay. Only had a couple of bites.

One more plate to come! Just had to try some more of the puffed french toast and breakfast lasagna!

Also grabbed a pancake, but it was dry. Oh well, the other stuff made up for it!

Then came the parade of characters. First came Piglet

Tigger and I danced a bit

Then he sat down and celebrated when my waiter brought by a cupcake

Next to come was Eeyore!

Then I got a hug

At some point, Pooh had ignored me, guess he thought I wasn't interested because I was alone. Or he just didn't notice me sitting there. Let's go with the second one . So when my server asked if I'd seen all the characters, I told him Pooh had missed me, so Pooh's handler came over and took me over to where Pooh was so I could get a picture

Kinda funny, and having nothing to do with the breakfast, but I'm looking at a picture of me and my two brothers with Pooh when I was about 8-9 years old, and Pooh has changed! He used to have a hunny pot on his head! And he had a big huge head! Among other things. I guess he's just matured over the years

So that was breakfast with Pooh and the gang. Nothing too exciting. But it was a good breakfast, and I got to meet some characters and get pics, which is always nice. Most definitely will be back, have an ADR scheduled for August when I go with the fam.

What is in the breakfast lasagna - is it an entree or dessert? In one pic it looked like there was corn in it, in another blueberries?!?!

Marsh - Great review.

Not the OP, but I can answer the question about the breakfast lasagna. It's def. more dessert then entree. It's made with fruit, pastry cream, pancakes, and waffles. It is very rich.
