fantastic report and I love your photos. We did the tour a few years ago and loved the undergrounds ....I think your tour was different then ours. but it is a blast isnt it.??

yea this tour was the mickey's magical milestones tour. It was all on the history of mickey and Walt and all the changes that have happened. The one you did i think is the keys to the kingdom tour. I want to do that tour on my next trip from everything everyone said that tour is amazing!

this is one "cool" report....and i'mluving the ways yor doing
the magic. ha! i going to show my older sons [19,22] yor pics.! when
we gave them cameras..all they came back with pics of thegirls they
met... ,no characters even when they saw devine!

ahhhh to be 5 hmmmmm to be 19!!!

haha boys will be boys. Im so big on photo albums and i try to document everything so i can see how things change in the future. (haha im a dork i know.) anyway hope your sons catch some disney magic the next time they are there!

Ok so on with day 3...part 2 MGM.

So i talke the bus from the polonesian resort to MGM. After i get into MGM i decide Im going to head over to Rockin rollercoaster so i can get a fast past for after my dinner resservaion at sci-fi. After taking a stroll over to RNR i realize the fast passes are going from 7:20-8:20. Exactly what i needed! I thought i would have my dinner and have plenty of time to walk back to the coaster and then get in line for fantasmic. I have never seen fantasmic and that night was the only night i was going to be able to catch it since i had plans the other nights of my trip. So i grabed a fast pass.

After i had my fast pass in hand i headed over to The great movie ride! The wait was only 20 minutes and i figured by the time i had gotten through the ride it would almost be time for my ADR. Now i had heard that sometimes a cowboy would take over the ride instead of the mob guy but no such luck for me seeing that . Ah well. Anyway after the ride i headed down to Sci-Fi for my dinner. I checked in at the desk and waited no more than 10 minutes for my 5:20 reservation. I got seated with a mother and daughter in the front and a young couple in the back. This was the only place where i felt kind of out of place. The waiter who took care of me wasnt the nicest of people. He kind of just brushed me off since i was alone. It made me kind of sad that people would do this to me in the happiest place on earth but i thought if that was the worst thing that happened to me on my vacation i wouldnt sweat it. Now my dinner at Sci Fi wasnt as good as i remembered from the year before maybe its because i went for lunch last year instead of dinner...i dont know. Anyway after i left the restraunt i headed back toward RNR because i was just gonna rest for a bit and people watch untill it was time for my fast pass. Well on the way you pass the entrance to the theater for fantasmic and people were already getting in line at 6:45!!!! I couldnt believe it! Now i continued on my way to the coaster and i sat down for a minute and thought about my options. (a. wait for my fast pass at 7:20 and get inline after or b. get in line now for fantasmic.) I decided to get in line since i had never seen the show and i wanted a good seat and since it was an EMH night i could catch RNR after. So i get in line and waited and waited and waited till i think it was 8:00 or so then we were allowed to be seated. Wow is that stadium huge! I sat right in the center 4th row! I thought i had a perfect seat! So as its getting dark there was a group from Brazil in the next section over maybe about 20 in the group and they got the whole theater doing the wave! it was so fun!

The show started right on time and i cant tell you how amazing it is! You need to see it if you havnt already. Here are some pictures from the show.

This show has got everything, music, fireworks, princess', mickey, villians, EVERYTHING. haha if that doesnt convince you to go see it i dont know what will! lol.

So after the show i went to go get my wrist band and head over to RNR. That coaster is awesome its tied with Expedition everest as my top favorite rides of all time! lol. At this time the park was closing to all non-disney resort staying guests. They had the "beauty and the beast" song on (some kind of remix upbeat version) and i just kind of stood on that road where the main entrance is and took it all in. People must of thought i was strange i was just standing there singing along to the music looking up at all the lights. Its amazing what little things can do. haha it was then that it kind of hit me that im so young and i have my whole life ahead of me (ive had kind of a rough year). so after my little life inspiring moment i was off to do more shopping and Star tours. I love that ride. haha as simple as it seems its still so good! I also found the best shirt that night... its a white tee shirt and its got minnie lounging in a bathing suit and it says "paradise found...Walt disney world" haha its so me! WDW is so my personal paradise i think i will be going there till the day i die. It was getting kind of late after that so i decided to head back to the hotel and get some shut eye.

Day 4. June 8

Now back in march i had decided to add another day to my trip but i had already got my 3-day disney pass. So i decided that my extra day would consist of catching up on some sleep, resort hopping, shopping and my first character dinner ever!

So i woke up at 8am today got showered and dressed then headed down for some breakfast. I kind of took my time this morning, I was in no rush, no plans till my 6:40 reservation at 1900 park fare. So i kind of poked around the resort gift shop then headed out to the bus stop to catch the next bus to downtown got there around 9:20. I needed to get my family some gifts so thats what i intended on doing. So after a couple hours of shopping and a lot of money later i was getting hungry so i got some lunch. Any guesses where?!...haha yup my favorite Earl of Sandwich. I figure i only get to eat there once a year so why not take advantage of it. : Anyway after lunch i went back to Baison (the spa/soap) store to get myself a facemask. This afternoon was going to be my personal spa day. After picking out the perfect facemask i headed back to the hotel.

I get back to my room around 1:00 and did all the girly stuff. Facemask, listened to music, read a gossip magazine i picked up at the hotel gift shop. Lol so after my girl time and a nap it was getting kind of late so i had to get ready to head to the grand Floridian for my dinner reservations. I headed out to the bus stop and decided i was going to get to the GF from the magic kingdom. I get to the magic kingdom and catch the next water launch to the GF. I was looking forward to that day since i booked my dinner ressie. As crazy as it may sound i was so excited to meet Cinderella and Prince Charming. I'm 19 and can you believe all the times i had been to disney before i had never met eather of them?! haha. When i get on the boat there was a little girl who was 7 her brother and her grandparents. We got to talking and it turns out we were headed to the same place. It was the little girls birthday and her grandparents had taken her to disney and this was her birthday dinner. It was kind of funny because my birthday was the month before and this dinner was a little secret birthday present to myself. Anyway we get off the boat and head to the restraunt. I said my goodbyes to the family and wished the little girl a happy birthday. since i was a little early i wanted to explore the resort.

The grand floridian is a BEAUTIFUL resort and i hope one day i can save up enough money to stay there. First stop i had to run to the bathroom. Now this wasnt my plan but since no one was in there after i was done i took a picutre. Now i know your really not supposto take pictures in bathrooms but no one was in there and the bathroom was beautiful too! who would of known?! lol

After my shock of the beautiful bathroom i went to go check in at the restraunt. I was given a buzzer and i decided to go sit in the main area of the hotel and take some more pictures. I still cant get over this hotel, its so amazing. they have a piano man

and a band! Its so beautiful

My buzzer went off about 10 minutes after checking in and it was time to start my fairy tale dinner!

First stop after handing in the buzzer is meeting the fairy godmother in the lobby.

. The fairy godmother wished me a magical evening and off i was to be seated.

When i got to my table my waitress came right over and asked me if i was there to see the characters. and of course i said yes. she then explained how the character rotation worked and she said just to wait a minute before getting my food because Cinderella was comming! my waitress went off to get my drink and i took this lovely picture of my cute napkin. lol

No more than 3 minutes later Cinderella was at my table! Of course i stood up and she courtseyed (wow sorry i cant spell) I then asked her if i could get a picture with her and she said of course. My waitress then came rushing over and said she would take the picture for me since i was alone.

I then thanked Cinderella for the picture and she said no thank you lol. Anyway after i figured i had a couple minutes i could go grab some food off the buffet. everything looked so good. Salmon, pasta, potatos everything. They had the best salmon i have EVER had! As i was sitting there enjoying my salmon i saw two more characters were comming my way...

While i was here i knew i had to try the strawberry soup that they have. i have heard so many great reviews of this and boy i have to tell you its soooo good!!!! mmmmmm haha make sure you try that if you go to 1900 park fare. Anyway the last character to come around was My prince! lol i was on cloud nine!

haha so cute! anyway so after Prince Charming left i had dessert and decided to head back to the hotel for some swimming. so i headed back out to the boat launch and headed back to MK. We passed the wedding pavilion...wow its beautiful. I want to get married there and have a perfect fairy tale wedding.

So i got back to the hotel around 9 and as i open my hotel room door i notice that the red light on my phone is blinking. So i turn on my lights and head right toward the phone and i looked and the light means i have a message. So i sit on my bed and look toward my TV to turn it on and my eyes just about bugged out of my head. There were 3 balloons and a card. The Card said Happy birthday Cheryl and it was from Lilo and Stitch!!! So i just had to know what the message on the phone was so i listened to it. It was minnie and Mickey singing happy birthday to me!!!! After they sang to me i called my mom on my cell phone and i was like in shock. She said she knew that the dinner i planed that night was for my personal b-day celebration so she called Pop century and told them that my birthday was in may and i was celebrating it that night. I was so shocked that my mom would do that! It made me feel really special and it meant a lot to me! now i know how some of you feel about people wearing the b-day buttons when its not their b-day but i didnt wear any button or anything just so you know. But i was so happy my mom did that for me!

So after talking to my mom for a while i figured i would kind of lay low in the room instead of going swimming because i needed to get up early in the morning for my last full day at disney.

Up next day 5 my last full day at disney world. Epcot, and Magic Kingdom. Wishes...what a way to end the night!

Okay some questions for you:

Ive been to all star music and Sports as well as Pop century and out of the three Pop was my favorite! It has its perks thats for sure like its the only bus stop for that resort, the other all stars are all lumped together for the bus stop. Also Just the theming is so much fun, the colors are so bright and the music is so fun.

I wanted to stay in the 50's section because last year we had stayed in the 60's and heard some fireworks. So we had asked one of the hotel workers the next morning what fireworks those were and she said that in parts of the 50;s section you can see illuminations over the trees. So i thought that i would request the 50's and maybe get a room that you could see the fireworks.

I love staying at Pop centrury its so fun to see kind of where the times were and how everything has changed. In the check in lobby all along the wall there is a timeline with tons of memorbila from the 50's right up to today. You will have a great time at this hotel! hope this kind of helps and answers all your questions! Have a great trip!

Day 5 June 9th

So after having a rest day the day before i was ready to go and enjoy the last full day of my vacation. I got up at 6:30 got ready and headed to the food court to have my usual morning breakfast. This day i kind of left un planned so i could choose what i wanted to do in the morning. I had already decided to end my night at Magic Kingdom with Wishes and EMH. So after going through the maps i decided to head back over to Epcot. I got there around 8:20ish and got in line for opening. Heres a picture of Pluto at the opening ceremony

Once the gates opened i headed right over to soarin. got right on and also did a fast pass for a little later. After my first ride i went to get inline for Living with the land while i waited. I love living with the land its so interesting what they are experimenting with in the green houses, my favorite was this little number

After riding soarin again i headed over to honey i shrunk the audience and Figment. Those were very cool rides. i had never done those before. Then i went to one of my all time favorites Test track! so much fun!

Anyway i headed over to Mexico after because i had promised my brother i would get him one of the hats from mexico. After i grabbed some lunch at the electric umbrella and headed over to the leave a legacy booth. I decided back in march that i would do one of the tiles so i filled out the form and had my photo taken. (and guess what i got in the mail today?! my little LEave a Legacy certificate. If anyone is going and wants to take a picture of it for me its located at East 1-A-13-11-10 lol! ) anway i was so excited! After i got my leave a legacy i decided to head over to MAgic Kingdom because there were tons of rides i just had to get done.

So upon arriving at the magic kingdom the sky was so blue so i just had to take some pictures of the castle.

Can you tell i love the castle? Anyway i went off to do all the rides. Space Mt, Buzz lightyear, Winnie the Pooh and Snow white

. The wait times were not too bad. The longest were Snow white and winnie the pooh. I also did philiar magic again and what trip to disney is complete without...

It's a small world! lol Anway after that i headed off to ride haunted mansion and when i got on i got about 1/2 way though and the ride stops. Ugh right in the grave yard where all the ghosts are comming up and screaming. haha they must of screamed a million times before the ride got going again. oh well its disney so i wont complain. I also did Big thunder mt rail road and waited in line for 2 hours at Splash Mt again. There something that always draws me to a classic disney ride...i dont care how long the wait is but i will always wait to get on.

I was also hoping that Pirates would be having a soft opening but no such luck : It was getting to be dinner time now so i grabbed some dinner at Pecos bills and headed back to Main street USA and can you believe people were already sitting waiting for Spectro magic at 6:30??! oh well i went and did some shopping and then grabbed a cookie and a smoothie (sooo good you gotta try one) at the bakery on main street. And i sat and people watched till Spectro magic.

I love spectro magic it always brings back memories of past trips!

after Spectro magic i made my way down closer to the castle to i believe it was called the rose garden. This is a perfect spot to watch wishes. Right underneith Tinkerbells flight path and perfect view of the castle. So Wishes starts and im standing there getting all teary eyed (it always gets to me) and im holding my camera ready for tinkerbell to fly over. no such luck that night i guess it was too windy for her to fly but i got this awesome picture!

. AFter wishes i went to get my wrist band and made my way to the TTA. As simple as that ride is i love love love it! lol "Paging mr. morrow, mr. Tom Morrow. hahaha! anyway i rode that twice, went over buzz light year, Space mt and Stitches great escape.

After i was getting kind of tired so i decided to start making my way out back to the hotel. But of course i couldnt go without taking some beautiful night time shots of the castle.

Up next: Last day, Downtown Disney and meeting a new friend

Am LOVING your report and your pics are awesome! Great job - you are so brave to go solo (I'm 53 and only been once with a group of 12 and would love to go solo sometime. I've only been on a cruise by myself once and while it was fun, it was lonely too. But I don't think it would be the same at WDW - esp with all the magic!)

Your report is inspiring me to take the plunge and visit DL on my own...which is something I would never have thought of doing a few years ago. Your trip sounds like it was a blast and super relaxing too!
