SoG to EWWoS - fastest way?

Will be traveling next spring for UCA cheer comp at EWWoS. Staying at SoG. What is the fastest way to get there? Any idea how long the trip is? Any idea on cost?

The ultra-fastest way is by automobile. Yours, rented (hired) or chauffeured.

World Drive (main drag) south to Osceola Parkway east, next right (Victory Dr.) off Osceola is ESPN Wide World of Sports. Distance something like seven miles.

Or take Shades of Green shuttle bus to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom, transfer to a Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, or All Stars bus, and catch the EWWoS bus from that resort. The last schedule I saw as that the EWWoS buses start an hour before Disney sanctioned competitions (Youth Educational Series, etc.) and end 45 minutes after the last event. Buses may or may not be available for outside events such as major league baseball spring training.

The pp is good info, but also check with the event organizers to see if any charter bus service is being provided. If there are any competitions scheduled at DHS, they might have charter buses running between DHS and EWWS, which would save you one transfer, and also probably run more frequently than the Disney bus.

The Disney buses to EWWS run only every half hour, which, combined with the SOG shuttle running once an hour, could make for a very long trip if the schedules don't match up. In fact, unless you're close to the departure time for a DHS shuttle, it might even be faster to walk to the Poly or take the SOG shuttle to TTC (every 20 minutes), monorail to MK, and catch the bus from there to any All Star Resort, where you can catch the EWWS shuttle or preferably a charter bus if available.

Thanks for all the great info. Since its not far, about seven miles, I think I'll just take a cab. I was worried it was much further. With performance times I don't want to run the risk of missing a connection bus. We will only be in the World for four nights so I don't want to waste a lot of time waiting for a bus which seems like we would.
