SOG Room set up?

Does anyone know if you have have things (stuffed mickey, hats etc.) set up in the rooms at SOG for our arrival like they do at the other resorts and if so who do I call?

I don't think they do this. SOG isn't owned by Disney. You can call the desk or mgr and see what they say.

Don't hold your breath. When we went in June it was my DD birthday and I asked if I could do something special and they refused. I even asked if I had someone drop off balloons if they would put them in my room but they said no they would have to be picked up at the front desk. I spoke with 3 different people and finally gave up.

What did you ask to do special that they refused? They were really helpful, when we were there for my daughter's birthday. I know one thing they will do is one of the resturants will bake a small birthday cake ( i forgot the price) and there were some other things that they will do. You just have to talk to someone with experience. If you call ask for the person in charge, and if there not there they will call you back.

First I talked to the person when I made my reservations. I asked if they could do anything at all. I was told no. So I asked if they knew of anyone in the area that I could call to have something delivered I was told no. OKAY that seemed strange to me so I waited a day and called again and spoke with someone different he said he was unsure but he would ask so he put me on hold and came back and said No they didn't do anything and couldn't recommend anybody in the area. So I asked to speak to a manager and was told that the best I could do would be Balloons at the front desk but I would have to put them there and pick them up later, or sneak the balloons up to the room myself. Oh and I was also told that Disney Florist wouldn't deliever to SOG because it wasn't a Disney Resort.

Funny I was told that they didn't make cakes. We ended up having a cake for her at Ohana. It doesn't matter now but it was very frustrating at the time.

When I had called to ask about information about birthdays, I talked to guest services. The people in reservation don't have a clue about anything except making reservations. I'm sorry you couldn't get the information or help you needed.
