We are going to SoG during Memorial weekend. We hope that everything will be up and running including the restaurants. Does anyone have any info on this? Or a place to find out? The SoG website does not have any info. Thanks.

I dont have an answer for you, but heres a bump.
Hopefully someone will have some info on this soon. :D

suevee,
Evergreens was below par when I was there (2-12 Apr 04). Waited 1.5 hours for a salad. Never returned. Did not try the other restaurant.

Check out the Shades of Green Threads in the Disney Resorts section for the question and answer session I began when I returned. Hopefully you will find it helpful.

This has been a question I've had for a long time and have never had an answer. Can anyone eat at SOG or do you have to be military/DOD to eat there? Thanks for any relpy

I think you have to be military/dod or guest of military/dod. They used to check ID at the kiosk to enter the resort and did not allow non-guests to enter the resort area. Now if you are using the golf course, I guess you could mosey over, but I don't know for sure.

::yes:: suevee,
Glad you mentioned the Golf Course. Whenever we went through the gate and forgot to put our vehicle pass in the window, they asked if we were there to golf. Of course I just said, "no" and showed the vehicle pass. But, I am sure if you said you were going there to golf you could get in, or just try saying you are going to Evergreens. Don't know til ya try, just have a backup plan. Also, they may not buy off on the "Golf" story if you show up at 7 PM or later (gets dark ya know).
