Hello,

I'm looking for info from anyone who has booked SOG overflow rates...

SOG is sold out on 3 of the 4 nights I'm interested in booking (they are still open the first night). I would like to stay in the same place the entire time, vs. booking one night at SOG and the rest elsewhere. Would I be able to book the full 4 days on one ressie thru SOG using overflow, or would we have to split the ressie, with the 3 sold out days via overflow and a separate ressie for the first day booked through WDW? Hope this makes sense and thanks! :)

Unless their rules have changed, you should be able to book your entire stay at the overflow resort due to the fact that all your nights are not available at SoG. :)

Have you tried calling them? On the calendar online it said sold out for my dates but I called anyways and asked for availability and was able to book.:confused3 Last year I called and the whole month was practically red and so I said I would like to check overflow rates and was told I had to check their availability first and it was available then, too! I dont fall into that calendar online any more! Try calling-you might get lucky!

We've booked an entire stay when SOG was booked some of the days of our trip -- granted that was in 2000, but I doubt they've changed that policy, Like PP suggested, why not call them?

I would call and ask. Don't get your hopes up too much though as the overflow rates just aren't as good as they used to be. Make sure you watch for discounts directly through Disney as well as that could actually come out lower than the rate through SOG.

Depending on your travel dates, you might be able to get a better deal at a Disney resort booking a package through a travel agent or Disney. Overflow rates are usually no better than the standard room discounts anyone can get. If you checked the SOG dates online, try calling. The online reservation calendar seems to have a lot of problems with accuracy.
