Hi all,

I am trying to help a friend plan her first trip to Disney. I was confident I could help her with everything until she reminded me her DH was retired military. So, SOG is the way to go for them. I know nothing about it. Any and all advice would be helpful. Info such as: Is the Disney Dining plan available to them? What, if any, other differences are there bet. staying at SOG and being a "regular" guest on property? Phone numbers for her to call to find out info, etc.

THanks in advance.

No DDP, as was previously stated. But SOG is a beautiful resort. The buses are always on time. The bus ride to TTC takes about five minutes. And you get a deluxe-sized room for the price of a value.

I would also call it a pretty quiet resort. But you do have to book early in some cases. We went last November and were hoping for a suite. We called in January and the suites were already gone.

the overflow rates through Sog are great too..were staying over Christmas and are paying $297 over CHRISTMAS for Poly:cloud9:   I'm so excited!!! Plus they can purchase discounted tickets there...and their restaurants are cheaper and they pay no tax!
