Soft opening times week before Christmas?

Does anyone know if there is a source of info on the actual opening times of the parks? We will be there Dec. 19-23. The stated opening time for each park is 9 a.m. each day. But it used to be that they would often open early, especially if they thought it would be a busy day. I am wondering if they might really open at 8 or 8:30 that week. Thanks.

I'm not really sure. The only thing I can think of is if you are staying on Disney property they give you a times guide & new information card in your packet when you check-in. That might be the most up to date opening and closing times for when you are there.

I don't think you would know that unless you were standing there waiting to get in. They don't publish that info in the times guide. I don't recall any park opening earlier than the published time over last Christmas and New Year and we did a lot of rope drops. They pretty much let us in at the published opening (or published EMH) time.

AK didn't open early on Thanksgiving and MK didn't open early the day after. I know that, for sure. Can't help with Christmas.

That situation has not been the case since the advent of EMH days.

If they didn't open early for Christmas last year or Thanksgiving this year, they won't open early when I'm there either. Thanks all.
