Soft Open of Moana prior to AP/DVC previews?

will be there 14 and 15. leaving on 16. Disappointed
Soft opening only for AP / DVC then too?
Hoping to be lucky to see it.
How does it work since it's a walking attraction?
Lines up outside the attractions?
I'm assuming it's one direction. Do people linger?
Wondering how traffic and congestion it will cause in that area.

There has not been any soft opening yet. There is a AP/DVC preview from Sept 24-29 and Oct 1-4. I don't recall any announcement of what is happening October 5-Oct 15 before it opens on the 16th. There is a chance they do a soft opening before Oct 16 but it's rarely announced, it just happens.

No one knows how it'll work once it's open since right now, it's been in previews only. My guess is if it's super popular at first, it'll be a virtual queue until interest diminishes. It's not built to have a queue, really. Eventually, it's a walking path with interactive elements. Most people doing previews are lingering - but I would too if I waited 3 hours to walk through it

It's not that big, and isn't in a space where a lot of traffic is right now anyways.

Honestly I expect it to just stay open after AP/DVC previews, it might not but it is what I most expect.
