I know its kinda weird, but Coke or Pepsi products in the parks? :drinking1 Thank you!

O.K. I guess coke products will do in the parks. Will have to bring some Mt. Dew and Mt Dew Code Red for the hotel though. Thank you!!

Is the food really expensive? A friend that went said she took a cooler with sandwiches and left it in the car and went out and ate then went back in the park...I just hate to spend a fortune on food, you know?

Unsure what you might consider a fortune, Tex. I know on the day we had burgers and fries we spent about $25-$30 bucks for three of us. I considered this a fortune! But, DH and DS did not exercise control in ordering (double bacon cheeseburgers, etc). We have eaten much more reasonably. Best bet is the pizza places in each park. I did not think lunch was too high there. Another thing we do is try to split entrees or have a decent b'fast and then a pretzel in the park. DH and DS also like those turkey legs which are relatively cheap and filling.

The counter service is pretty much on par with the prices at Disney. The restaurants, as a whole, are a little cheaper than Disney.

Examples of prices: Hamburger, fries and drink will cost around $8.00.
Hot dog, chips and drink will cost around $6.
Most full meals like BBQ ribs or fish or chicken with fixin's like cornbread, cole slaw, or corn on the cob, costs around $12.

Full service restaurants like Finnegan's will cost around $15-20 a person.

that's not too bad........my 12 yr old and I could probably split a burger and fries....hubby could order his own......or hubby and I would probably be just as well with a pretzel (are they GOOD ones?).......thanks!

Hiya :wave2:

Coke definatley has the advantage over Pepsi in Orlando. It is the only coca cola available at USF/IOA & At Disney.

IF you stock up on a buffet breakfast you should only need a snack during the day. You wouldnt be able to walk into the parks, Certainly Disney with a big cooler/picnic. The food prices are pretty much on a par with any theme parks or attractions.
