Soda...at breakfast

Okay, I know this is a little weird, but I don't drink coffee. I prefer to get my caffeine from soda (diet coke). Is soda available at breakfast buffets, and restaurants in the morning? Will I be teased at WCC if I ask for diet coke at 8:00 in the morning? Will the soda machines be turned off at the Crystal Palace?

Will be no problem. As a Diet Coke addict I have it for breakfast all the time, even at WDW. As for WCC you will probably be safe but you never know.

I'm with you. It is never too early for a Diet Coke. I usually fill up a refillable mug with Diet Coke to have with breakfast in our room before heading out to the parks.

Just ask the waiter for it. My mom always gets iced tea b/c she hates coffee. She's never had a problem getting it for breakfast.

same here! don't drink coffee but I NEED pop in the morning! God Bless Coca Cola! I've never had a problem getting it anywhere. Granted I wouldn't be surprised if you were teased a bit at WCC! Seems like that's what it's all about! Have a great trip!

As much as I love the smell of coffee, I can't drink it. It irritates my mouth to no end until I brush my teeth. It's one thing if I'm in my house but another at Disney where just making it to your room is an adventure, then there's the whole explaining it to my family thing ("You want to go all the way back there to what?"). Given that I have no problems with Diet Coke at breakfast. The Whispering Canyon people might or might not say anything. It's their job to be goofy.

i drink soda in the morning too with breakfast... i was a little worried too about asking for it at WCC when we go for breakfast.. i can't find it now but i do remember reading on one of the threads for WCC that said something about "ordering soda with breakfast".. it was after i read that that i started to worry about what i'll get to drink instead because i don't wanna be teased about ordering it!!! LOL

people tease me all the time cause drink soda 24/7 hate coffee. i don't know about disney but i have never had a problem getting my fix i am sure disney is no different. so glad to see I am not alone on this.

Kids in my classroom know the day begins once Mrs. Harambe pops the top of her Diet Coke can! LOL!

I do drink coffee, too, but I HATE most WDW coffee, so I stick with the Coke.

Habit started when I was pregnant with lots of morning sickness. The Diet Coke soothed my tummy.

Just let me warn you - before 11 or so, at the parks, it's almost impossible to find a bottle of soda, it's just fountain stuff.

DH has a thing about Orlando / Clearwater water. Won't drink it, period, as the water taste makes the soda taste off to him. He eagerly awaits the opening of the soda carts / popcorn stands because then he can get his fix in. And usually by then he's flirting with the headache...

Ahhh, your dh sounds like me. I, too, am a purist when it comes to diet Coke and prefer my diet Coke in a bottle.

Although I didn't have any breakfast Coke on this past trip, I do regularly drink Coke at breakfast when I'm out, since I don't like coffee. I think I would have gone into serious withdraw if WDW didn't have Coke. (I don't drink Pepsi.)

At the Grand Floridian Cafe for Breakfast, i asked for a diet Coke and the server said that's what she prefers. so no problem getting your diet Coke fix early in the day.

I too drink a coke every morning. I would prefer a can, a bottle and finally fountain... but with a free refill cup, since we upgraded to Deluxe for free dining, fountain it is!
