I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I am looking for some reasonably priced socks to wear in my sneakers in August at WDW. The kind that dry quickly but help protect the feet without breaking my budget?
Thanks!
They hug the arch for a little extra support, have some padding in the bottom, and they are not no shows. Last time I wore no shows I had blister's at the back of my heel where the shoe rubbed.
I have never worn these in the park. I have run a lot of miles in them, in summer, in rain and have had no blisters.
Do you find that to still be true...? My old ones are getting ragged and its time for some new ones but I know the founders spun off to their own company again - point6. I'm considering getting those instead as some people are saying smartwool just aren't what they used to be..?
I know these are expensive but they wear very comfortable and made for dry wear. They are ladies dry foot joy socks. My DH wears them for work as he works in water all day. You can look them up online, I bet you could buy them from amazon.
I like the CoolMax socks and as PP mentioned Sierra Trading Post has them at a great price - and if you sign up for their emails they have them for as little as $4.17/pr depending upon the style you choose. They also have free shipping on orders over $75.
My son wears Adidas socks fro running. They are a light weight, moisture wicking sock. I prefer New Balance socks that serve the same purpose. The New Balance are the only ones that don't work their way off the back of my heel.
