I'm so jealous!! I really hope to be able to see that film again sometime. I enjoy it so much more than the 'world' version.

Glad to ride this twice today!!

We are east-coasters who moved out here in 2015. We had been on Soarin’ over California in WDW in 2007 and 2010, but never after we moved out here. (They made the change to Soarin’ over the World in June of 2016, and we didn’t make it.

Anyway, having lived out here (and working a job that requires me to travel) plussed the enjoyment of this ride quite a bit, as we’ve come to know quite a bit of California that we had never seen prior to our 2007/2010 WDW trips.

So jealous! Soarin' over CA was my favorite attraction for years. i wish they would keep it. We dislike the World version so much that we don't even ride it anymore. The distortion and CGI make me crazy.

I would love it if the change were permanent, simply because I have never seen California! I loved World, but with nothing to compare it to that's probably common. I'd love to see CA to see why it's preferred by so many.

I think that was wishful thinking.

I believe the change is only through the end of F&W (Apr 21)

Opposite for us. Seen California dozens never seen world. We are disappointed we will not see it next week when we go.

The California version is so beautiful. It was my favorite ride for years as well. I still listen to the soundtrack every once in a while. I had high hopes for the World version but the distortion is beyond ridiculous. They could just run California on one side of the building and World on the other side, permanently! I really don't see any reason why the World version has to be in DCA when it's already running in Florida. Just leave it there, and let DCA have something special.
