It depends on the row you are in. Row 1 is the highest. I believe I've read it is 40 feet off the ground. Row 2 is some what lower (haven't read the height on it) and Row 3 is only a few feet off the ground. Rode in row 1 twice, and loved it. Soarin is my favorite ride at Epcot.

Go on it. Its an awesome experience. My mom gets motion sickness and went on, and its now one of her favorite rides. The glider doesnt really move, it only gives you the effect. They blow air at you, gently, and the glider may move back, slowly at the end. You'll be fine. Its awesome.
