WOW!!!!!!!!! That about sums it up! What an amazing ride. I'm really bothered by heights, fast motion, etc., but I had made up my mind that I was going to do this ride and I'm glad I did! There were a few parts where I had to close my eyes, coming over the edge of a mountain, zooming down over the river... but it was a fantastic ride. I love how you feel the wind blowing and how you tilt from side to side and up and back.
So, for anyone wondering if they can handle the ride, I would say yes. I don't do roller coasters (except for Goofy's Barnstormer!) and I can't handle fast rides like Test Track, but Soarin' is so smooth - it's just incredible.
Definately get a fast pass the first thing when you get to Epcot. On our first day at Epcot, the wait line was @ 70 minutes. With the fast pass, we probably waited around 10 minutes (maybe 15). The second time we went to Epcot, it was later in the day, the wait was over 2 hours and all the fast passes were gone! So glad we got it in on the first day (which was a Saturday).

I wound up in the first row and absolutely loved it.
The only part that made me kind of dizzy was the nighttime city scene with the lights everywhere, and my mom was kinda nauseated when all of the clouds come "flying" at you. If you do feel sick or dizzy though and happen to be in that first row, look up and from time to time you can see the edge of the screen and part of either the wall or ceiling.
