Does Soarin have any kind of stationary seating for little ones? I don't mind sitting with him while DH rides the actual ride, I just don't want to child swap if I don't have to. Thanks to anyone who can help me out with this!! :sunny:

As long as your child makes the height requirement they should be fine. There is a strap that goes between their legs for extra security, but they still need to make height.

minniedisney1, the height requirement for Soarin' is 40 inches. Most kids reach that height between 3.5 and 4 years old. I'm guessing, since you used the word "toddler" your child isn't there yet. There are no stationary seats, the entire seating aparatus moves up to the screen as it it were one single unit.

Sweetie, I am sorry, but unless you have a super-tall toddler, you will have to child-swap. The minimum height is 40 inches.

If he meets the height requirement the only other suggestion is ask the CM if you can get in Row 3 b/c it's the lowest to the ground, the CM told me that Row one is the highest and it goes up 50 ft.

Also another trick I learned for myself during the sceens that made me dizzy or lightheaded is to either close your eyes or look away from the screen (something you may want to teach your child to do before you go on the ride).

We're bummed about this - our two-yr-old would love Soarin' but he's about 38 inches tall right now. Parent swap, here we come!

Yes, I take pictures of signs :flower:

I have a 2 year old and I had to do the parent swap and it wasn't to bad because there's a decent waiting area outside of the ride. Plus, it's right next to some washrooms in case you need to change a diaper while you are waiting.

We'll be swapping too. My 3 yo Grandson won't make the 40" by next month (he's just over 37" now) It's a shame because I think he'd LOVE it. I've ridden Soarin' a good dozen times this year & don't understand why the height is 40". I would think 35" would be sufficient. It's really no more intense than a ferris wheel, IMHO.

Thanks everyone!!! Looks like we will be swapping. He will be 3 at the end of Feb. and is on the small side. He is barely 36 inches now. I had to buy him cowboy boots to wear at the local paramounts theme park so he makes the height req. :rolleyes1. OK, everyone throw some pixie dust our way that he will have a 4 inch growth spurt in 38 days!!! :rotfl2:
