Of course we want to ride both can anyone with experience say which it's smart to wait for and which to Fastpass?

I haven't been since FP+ started but I would think Soarin' is the better FP to get and Standby on TT.

even with FP+ is like 45 minutes. And that was on a Tuesday the first week of December. Will never waste a FP+ on it again. FP+ Soarin' and use the single rider line at TT.

Kids are too young for single rider but sounds like we should still fast pass soarin and wait for tt

We were there in April.
Honestly both are slam full from open to close.
We arrived at the front gate about 30 min prior to opening, made it in the park at about 15 till because they were already letting people in, and darted straight to TT. Our standby wait at TT was about 30 minutes that early in the day. Still better than waiting for 2+ hours crammed in a hallway for Soarin' though, if you ask me.

FP+ for Soarin' and use single rider line for TT. We were there last week, and didn't go to Epcot until early afternoon (after having a late night at MK the night before). After using our FPs, we checked the kiosk & there were no FPs for TT, so we couldn't book it for our 4th FP+. Did single rider line instead & the wait was only 15 - 20 minutes.

I'm interested in the replies here too! We ended up getting FP for Test Track since we never got to ride it last year. It was when bands were in testing and we didn't get one, ride was down most of the day. Even when it was open, the lines for both FP and standby were crazy.

So the family really wants to be sure we get on that this time, thus a FP for that instead of Soarin. We plan to be there before rope drop and hoof it immediately to Soarn. Hope it won't have time to get too ridiculous. Then FP TT later morning.

At least that's our plan....

Soarin', hands down. I'm not much of a TT fan, anyway, but the line for Soarin' just never gets low at all. TT will sometimes drop to a semi-reasonable wait time. Also, and this is a nitpicky thing: There isn't really any cell phone service in line for Soarin'. I guess it's because of the way the queue kind of goes underground (or seems like it, anyway). But I never have any service there at all, and even Disney's wi-fi doesn't work there. Test Track, however, has service the whole time. I often fiddle on my phone when I wait in long lines, so if I had to choose between the two lines, I'd pick TT, which means Soarin' gets a FP.

ITA - especially bringing in cell service /wifi. I know some folks don't get waiting 40 mins before the park opens, but I still say be at the bus stop an hour before park opens so you're one of the first in line. Head to TT (walk with a purpose) and ride standy. If you are there that early you shouldn't have that long of a wait. FP Soarin.

fast pass soarin the line is always crazy and its a verry borring wait at least on test track theres stuff to loook at and the line seems to move faster..}{if theres no break downs or rain}

To throw a possibility...

We always move to soarin first in the am. Right at open, we have had luck beating the line (higher capacity). But with TT, if you aren't the first six, you wait.

Also, in my experience, TT breaks down WAY more frequently, and stops EVERYTHING!

Another vote for Soarin'!!!!! Since FP+ has started Soarin' seems to have the highest consistent wait times. Test Track seems to fluctuate more.

Soarin' by far. TT line time includes the five minutes design time and then the queue to the platform. I've timed it a few times and if you subtract 10-15 min from it that's the difference between FP and standby.

How many days will you be in Epcot? If you are doing 2 then you could do TT one day and Soarin on the other day, that's what we are doing this trip. If you are only doing 1 day then I would choose Soarin and stand by for TT. There is an interactive queue for TT where with Soarin its just a long walk way to wait in.

I agree with the majority. FP+ for Soarin. At least the standby line for TT is somewhat interesting. :)

We also plan to use the single rider line at TT and use Soarin as our FP+.

We ride test track first when the wait is manageable and then fastpass soarin later.
