we will be at disney apr 23-30 and really want to ride soarin. does anyone know if it will be open by then??

I believe the Passholder Preview is set for April 15th - 17th. I would think that after the Passholder Preview there would be a Soft Opening from the 17th - May 5th. The official opening could be May 5th which is the start of the celebration.

A post that it was opening in May I know they sometimes have soft openings on new attractions ahead of offical opening date so cross your fingers you my get the chance to experience on your visit.

I have a question about the passholdes preview - only two of us will have AP and the rest of party will have regualr MYW tickets - can we tag along with our passholders during the passholder preview????

Only passholders will be admitted for the passholders preview. Your companions will need to wait.

At least that is how it has worked in the past.

With Stitch the CMs were very specific with only allowing AP and DVC members in, no matter how much grief the poor CMs got. Guests have to show their APs, or there was no admittance. I don't know what DVC members show.
