Soarin LIVE reports!

Wait time on Touring Plans is down to 90 mins. For opening day of a 'newish' attraction I think that's great!

Report from OP:

We were talking to Patrick by 9:20. In our seats by 9:25. The new film is excellent. Same theme music, but new score to incorporate the different country's style of music.

The Rush was not bad at all. But we got to the main gate at about 8:30. Nine o'clock would have been too late.

We are never rope droppers (usually at the parks by 2:30), so it was kind of cool. It felt like some sort of weird alternate universe. It turns out Epcot has a "good morning" announcement. Who knew???

Patrick is still there??

Nice work, pal. :thumbsup2

Wait time on Touring Plans is down to 51 minutes as of posting this...

Just got off around 10:30. Love FP+ as the kids really needed to sleep in. We all loved it. Applause all around.

When we got off stand by was down from 95 mins to 60. Third theater is definitely making a positive impact.

Sounds awesome!

Tell me about Patrick.

Maybe you have to have a certain mindset to want to be first for things. Is it only to say "I was there first" or something similar? I must have missed out on that particular gene. Lol
Not meant as an insult at all, I just never had had the desire to be the first.

For the life of me I can't understand waiting in crazy lines for rides, movies, iPhones etc. The same thing will be there the next day with smaller lines or no lines.

That being said, it is interesting to see the new updates and people's thought on the new ride. So I guess I'm glad some people want to be first haha
If waiting that long is the ONLY option available to experience the ride (like, the last thing to do before rushing to the airport to end the vacation), yes I would do it, with a genuine smile on my face for the entirety of 250 + minutes waiting. I believe a large portion of guests fall into that category.
