According to UG the way to go about the big three at EPCOT-FW is Test Track, Mission Space then get a Fastpass for Soarin'. But from various threads on Soarin I'm starting to get concerned that by the time I get to Soarin' my Fastpass time will be on into late afternoon or evening (not good for us) if available at all.

As much faith as I usually put in UG I'm thinking I should do Soarin' first - experience, opinions? (a Sat or Sun morning, early Dec)

I did it in that order. There was about a 20 minute wait at the time for Fastpass, but, it was also a Wednesday morning in early November. I have heard that the lines are much worse on weekends, so, if you're going on a Sat or Sunday, I'd do Soarin', TT, and M:S in that order.

I would do Soarin first, then TT, MS. Soarin is very popular so if you get there early you may be able to ride or at least get an early fast pass.

We did Soarin' first. After Soarin' I grabbed Fastpasses for MS then we went to ride TT. After riding TT, our Fastpasses were ready for MS. It worked beautifully for us.

The waits at Soarin' definitely built up first. By the time we were done riding Soarin' the stand-by line was already 45 minutes long. However when we went over to TT the wait was minimal. Ten minutes at the most. I think because Soarin' is new and because it appeals to a larger mass of people, than say MS, the demand is higher. I would definitely be there at park opening and ride it first.

Another piece of advice, wait for the top or third row. At the very end of the queu they line you up into three different rows. Even if you have to wait one more cycle of the ride, definitely wait for the the top row. It will be worth the wait. If you are in the bottom or middle row you will see feet dangling above you. It totally ruins the ride. Everyone I have talked to complains about the dangling feet.

Lastly, while I enjoyed the ride, I wouldn't wait longer than 20-30 minutes for it. It was an enjoyable ride, but I have heard stories of people waiting 90+ minutes for it. I think that is a lot of valuable time to sacrifice at WDW for that particular ride.

Best of luck! ::MinnieMo

You mean the first row. The first row is the highest, and the third the lowest. We were in the middle row, and the feet didn't bother me.

Then again, I didn't like Soarin' all that much. Just wasn't my cup of tea.

We did Soarin' first. Then we went over for my SO, his uncle and cousin to ride TT and MS, and it worked out really well doing it that way. We wished we had grabbed FP for Soarin before we left because when we went back, wait was about an hour or so...we know better for next time!

I don't think there is a bad seat in Soarin. If you just focus on the screen you don't really see the feet above you.

1st get a fast pass for soarin. Then ride mission space(if you dare). Then by that time you should be able to get another fastpass for test track. the wait times for ms were shorter than for test track when we where there last month. the wait for ms was never longer than 20-30 minutes. test track waits were much longer-it also breaks down a lot. we nevre got to ride it-we had a fastpass-waited 15-20 min and then they came out & said the ride was closed. I felt sorry for all those people who waited for 60 minutes! :wizard:

I would definitely recommend doing Soarin' first. Was just there a month ago. It's the most popular ride by far at Epcot. I think it's because it's so new.

Fast passes go very quickly - are "sold out" (so to speak) very early in the day. We got there right at rope drop time, walked as quickly as we could directly to Soarin', and the waiting time in stand-by line was already about 40 minutes. Fast pass return time was reasonable (about an hour later), but when we returned to use the fast passes, the FP return time was already about 3:00 pm (and this was at 11:00 in the morning!!). They were "sold out" of fast passes by about 1:30 in the afternoon - no more for the whole day!

BTW, ask for the first row on Soarin' - it's totally worth it! (You might have to wait a couple of minutes, but it makes it much better to be in the top row! You can't see people's dangling feet above you that way!)

Never had trouble getting on Mission Space or Test Track (go in the single rider line, if possible - we never had to wait more than 10 minutes, even with a fast pass!). Mission Space lines were never more than 10-15 minutes in stand-by.

Thanks for correcting me! All I know was that I was in the second row which put me in the middle row once elevated, so I saw feet! ::MinnieMo

Last week, DH went directly to the Fast Pass Line for Soarin at rope drop. The line for the fast pass distribution was out the door to the land, and it wound all the way down the stairs to Soarin. Our Fast Pass return time was at 10:41.. Then we rode Test Track... there was no line for Mission Space. When we returned to Soarin at 10:30, the fast pass distribution was for 7:50pm!!!!

GO TO SOARIN FIRST!!!

First weekend in Nov., we arrived at EPCOT about an hour after they opened (on a Saturday), went first to Soarin' and basically had less than a 10 minute wait with no Fastpass so we rode that(FIRST ROW,...yay!), got a Fast Pass for later return to ride again, then went to Test Track and rode three consecutive times from single rider line with absolutely NO WAIT. Had no interest in Mission Space. Opted not to go back to Soarin' after Food and Wine sampling in the afternoon so we made 5 people very happy by giving them our Fast Passes! I do not understand why people do not use Single Rider lines when they are available (unless you have little ones, of course)

We did Soarin' first when we were ther back in April/May. I would do it that way again based on reports we are seeing about long lines. We did Soarin' first (did it twice in a row with hardluy any waiting), got FPs for TT -did Ellen's UoE while waiting for TT. We skipped M:S since this is not our kind of ride. All in all it made for a nice start to the day with hardly any waiting for anything.
